the website doesnt specify, but i don't think i've seen a carrier-locked phone in years
They VERY much can and do still pop them out
nevermind, someone confirmed with live chat LOCKED WITH TELSTRA
Which means Boost SIM could work
and/or it can be unlocked for a fee (or time elapsed?)I highly doubt that. I've never seen a locked flagship.
Is it worth it in 2025?
Like which one?
Something like the Edge 50 Neo when it's on sale is a much better deal imo. 120hz, more ram, better performance compared to tensor.
However, can install graphene os on the pixel so that might be an advantage for you.
If you're putting that $200 towards something, then https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/925345 becomes $425 - $200 = $225 essentially and the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is waaaaayy better than Pixel 7
@fycycy64: If you're going to be snide, at least do it correctly. You can always put that $425 towards more useful by neither purchasing this Pixel 7 nor the Edge 60 Fusion.
Basic use, yes it is worth, anything more than that and it will fall short and expect maximum 2 years of usage from it but still then even it is a good deal, for comparison the battery replacement on my 3 Year old iPhone 14 Pro costs $169 from apple, everything has gone expensive due to supply chain constraints and there’s marginal improvement in smartphones in the past 5 years, so pay for what your use is not for what is the latest technology.
I still run it.
For $200, I don't think there's anything better.
Obviously the 10 was better if you got all the preoder bonus stacking
If it is 5G, then yes.
A great burner phone with own ROM, and decent camera with GCam.Yes, Mobile Guru offers $240 for a used Pixel 7 128GB.
I've been using one for last 2.5 years with no issue. Battery life is pretty decent for average user.
I can only assume these people who complain about battery life are gamers or social media doom scrollers. I use mine for the average type use of call, txt, GPS, web browse and it lasts a day which is all anyone should expect.
Or they don't just put their phone on charge at night and then complain when they wake up
If you debloat the phone, their battery life is not bad.
Google Camera has good software for image processing, so this is a good buy,
because it has 5G and eSIM capabilities. My negatives are:
Pixels don't have MicroSD slot, nor a 3.5mm stereo jack :-(
I suspect it's a listing error by Bing Lee and the back-order might not be fulfilled.
Price error without a doubt, it's $600+ everywhere else.
I'm using the Pixel 7. For $199, I reckon it's good. The most recent updates improved the UI, and I think it runs better now than two years ago.
Battery life is perfectly fine for me. Easily make it through the day.Do you keep it on battery saver mode?
tempted, still rocking my pixel 6.. can not move up to 7..
Use "WELCOME20" coupon to get $20 discount.
Worth a gamble at that price, although it's definitely a error as used ones with cracked screens are selling for $300 +
Oos
Warning
Live chat: It is locked to telstra
so telstra wholesale will still work?
No
usually not
but Boost usually does
Ozbargained
Thanks O.P.
oos
Had in cart, sold out while trying to do payment. Didn't need it anyways still rocking $39 Moto from Amaysim deal.
still rocking $39 Moto
Give him a trophy 🏆
Damn, missed it
Snagged one Now lets see if they'll honour it
You guys did a lot in 20 minutes
Seems sold out
Link now comes up with sum ting wong
Now it back againIve had a pixel 7 for over 2 years now and the battery is down to 75% capacity. I can replace the battery for $150 or upgrade.
What are people's suggestions for better units around the $600 price range?
How do you know the battery capacity?
Third party apps, apps such as AccuBattery can estimate remaining capacity over time.
Do Bing Lee stores even sell Pixel phones?
Great find OP! Ripper phone at this price.
It says Telstra Google. Is it locked?
