Love my 8 Pro, good form factor but 9 is better. The zoom lens is not great on 8 Pro I barely use it.
Non pro pixel 9 doesn't have a zoom lens I believe.
The 5x lens? On the contrary I love it, it's the best feature of the cameras. I always use it.

I guess depends on your budget. P9 price dropped 40-50% after a year and I guess P10 will probably be the same. Sure if you have the money P10 is a better phone with an extra telephoto lens.
