Sennheiser MM50 Headphones for iPhone $49.95 - 50% off at DSE

130

DSE have 50% off the Sennheiser MM50 earphones for the iPhone. The apple store still sell these for around $120 so these are a great buy if you can pick them up. They're based off the CX300 but have a volume control and microphone

my friend bought one before for his iphone, he said the sound quality is even worse than the original headphone from apple

Your friend has either no idea or very odd ears. As long as you get the fit right, these are far superior to the stock headphones in almost every way. Great budget headphone which is iPhone compatible (even the original iPhone).

    • I think if you used these for a month or two then went back to the original Apple earphones you'd realise everything is better than the Apple earphones.

  • Why does it say for iphone, isnt it for anything with 3.5mm headphone jack?

  • Mic works on a PC if it is pluged into the speaker port?

  • awesome, been waiting for these to go on sale for ages, my iPhone headphones are on their last legs.
picking up some after work later today

  • I bought a pair of these for $100 from the Apple store - there isn't a volume control the side as stated in the description. Also my pair only lasted two months. I kept them in my pocket when not in use, but I would have expected them to last a lot longer.

In response to the above comments the mic doesn't work when plugged into a PC speaker port. In fact my headphones did not work at all when plugged into a normal 3.5mm jack, but only with my iphone.

  • just picked up a pair from DSE St Mary's, they had 1 set left if anyones interested.

@ Marlboro Man: they do have a 1 year warranty, i'd try and return them or contact Sennheiser for a replacement set.

I purchased an extended warranty from DSE for $15.95, gives you an extra 2 years replacement warranty, any issues and DSE will replace for you.
Pretty good deal since i've gone through 2 sets on iPhone earphones in the last year
