SOLD OUT restocking soon, price will increase by €1.

Hello Ozbargainers,

Dead Space 3 is being released very soon, DGC is currently offering the game for a reduced price (from 49.99 to 26.6 in EUR, this translates to a 46.8% discount compared to retail price) of $34.50 AUD - We are quite confident that finding a lower price for this is really hard.

The product that you will receive is Dead Space 3's CD Key (scanned). You can activate the game on Origin (like other EA games such as Battlefield) and simply have the game downloaded. We do not send the products because this would only add to the costs of the customers as well as our own.

When purchasing the product, make sure that you use the coupon code "ozbargainer" in the check-out area to reduce the price down to €26.6/$34.50 (1:1.30 rate). You will then receive the game anywhere between tomorrow and the 8th of February. The official release date is February the 8th, but there are occasions where we receive the games earlier than the official region's release date (european), but the servers are already up from the 5th of February.

Some final information:
Accepting PayPal, you need a valid phone number to validate your account (no costs for you, this is a simple security method we implemented)/ or login via Facebook, you cannot make purchases when you're on a proxy, no region restriction, this is a normal edition of Dead Space 3, limited stock, you will receive a 10% off coupon for next purchase when buying a pre-order, we have giveaways of every big release a few weeks before actual release (we had a DS3 giveaway, will be holding a Crysis 3 and SC2 HotS giveaway as well, follow us up FB for this.

[edit] Game is in stock.

  • Is it limited Edition? Stupid question it seems but Amazon are selling limited edition and it is not marketed as such.

    • It is unfortunately not the limited edition, it is a normal edition as stated in the description!

  • Most sites are selling the limited edition for $38-40, so this isn't much of a bargain.

    • Could you be so kind to show us where this might be? To our knowledge, we're the cheapest for the basic edition. But we could be wrong. Some people don't necessarily care for the limited edition "content" but just want to get the game as cheap as they can. Keep in mind that many of our competitors have a Russian key / product is from Russia, while ours aren't (but they generally don't let you know about this untill you actually make the purchase). We all know about the big issue with Steam making it unable for Russian versions to work anymore. Origin might do this at any point.

  • I'm tempted but will the PC version get any DLCs? For the first two Dead Space games, the DLC only went to the console versions because EA had no DRM service to sell the DLC on, which pissed me off. I prefer to play it on the PC with the best framerate and graphics, but then miss out on the added content.

Hello lostn, we can't say this with certainty because there is no valid source to quote, but what I can tell you is that the chances of DLCs being there for PC is very high. The reason for this is because there already is DLC available (limited edition). Previously on the Dead Space 2 port, there was only a LE available for the Playstation but not for the PC port. I hope that answers your question. Furthermore, EA did announce that there will be 11 DLCs available after the release (of the PC version as well as all the other versions), it would be strange if it is exclusively downloadable for the consoles.

[edit] or let's put it this way. The DLCs in total amount to $110, it would be a rather unstrategic move to limit themselves to consoles. It will probably happen the same way they are selling the BF3 DLCs. Or you can just be safe and wait a few days and check if the DLCs are available for PC as well. We'll be keeping this price for some time.

        Yeah, OK.

Thanks. With Origin, I guess they can sell DLC to PC gamers now.

If you're keeping this price for some time, I will wait just to make sure.

  • indeed you can buy limited edition for $40 at 3 different stores:

    http://cdkeyprices.com/product/Dead-Space-3-Limited-Edition-…

but for standard edition it is the cheapest copy I think.

    • What's included in the LE?

BTW, for those who haven't gotten into this series… get into it.

DS1 is probably my game of the generation.

      • Mostly cosmetics (2 suits) and 2 guns! Extra content packs will be added separately after release.
