  • Wouldn't recommend this place. Tobaki@SB hills for $25 ALL YOU CAN EAT is much better :)

  • Pretty terrible reviews at urbanspoon. I assume that is the restaurant.

    • Yeah, those reviews come from them selling their deal through group buying websites. Last time I went there it was soon after they had been selling a deal and the place was full of people who were clearly not typical fans of Korean food. The deal they sold used stupid RRP for the meal and was not part of their normal menu anwyway. It's no surprise they got a lot of bad reviews since then. It used to be rated pretty well before they started the group buying.

  • By the way, don't pay attention to their scoopon/cudi deals for prices as those RRP are not the standard prices. Even the menu on their website is not the real dine-in menu, it's only for takeaway and is quite different.

  • +1

Went there during their Scoopon promotion. Absolutely terrible service. Their voucher was extremely limited to what we could order, played dumb when we asked for Beers (which were included in the voucher) and insisted that it was canned soft drink only. Rice was not included - this is where they catch you. How can you go to these places and not have rice? Its like ordering a big mac at maccas only to receive the meat patties and lettuce.

Food was extremely mediocre at best, poor quality meat, cooked over portable camping gas stoves. When this place opened they used proper charcoal BBQ's, obviously cutting costs with these stoves. If you wanted side dish refills or to even order anything, you'd literally need to jump up and down just to get their attention because the staff just didnt look like they cared and weren't attentive at all.

Like others have said, there are plenty of better alternatives for quality and VFM korean BBQ. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear from this joint.
