That was my understanding too…
Do note that the zero tolerance is on threats against OzBargain itself, not the infighting between members.
The mods had discussions on this last night. I will leave it to them to make a decision when everyone is up later today.

No. First of all, in most cases we have no idea who you guys are, and we only surrender information related to you (email address, IP addresses, etc) when,

Out of curiosity if you received a request/order would you disclose to the member?
@Clear: All the requests that we have received & complied so far were those committing frauds against other ozbargainers — those accounts are usually already disabled or been in penalty box for months already.
No court order yet. However we would communicate with the user that we have received a court order requesting their information.
We have also received requests in the past, usually from angry merchants but have not from Cashback Australia in this case. Those requests were rejected, but we don't disclose to the users that someone is asking for those info.
I second the motion. The second any rep threatens any legal action, their account should be penalty boxed.
If that threat is a direct threat towards a user sharing their honest experience, then the rep account should be terminated immediately and their store permanently banned from any posts, rep or user initiated.

Cashback Australia joins a certain well reviewed on Google law firm in the OzBargain hall of fame.
It's clearly just an alter account for one of the other top cashback sites, by insulting people it will drive traffic to those cashback sites that don't threaten their customers with litigation

The behaviour of their customer service rep in their last thread was enough. No way will I ever sign up to their site.
If I owned that company I would be sacking and threatening to sue the ex- customer service rep, not potential customers.
