        • I love you ……… what is your name again ?

        • if the letter 'p' was right next to the letter 't' on my keyboard that would be more awkard…….

  • I remember this deal from 6 months ago.

All 4 shirts are still in impeccable quality! I'm wearing one now, in fact.

    Thanks TheMensShop!!

    • These shirts last for years. Speaking from experience. Easy to iron as well.

    • Glad to hear, mate.

    • SNAP! WEARING ONE TOO!!

  • +2

Any possiblity of throwing in someone to iron these shirts? I have bought so many shirts from The Mens Shop that it takes me roughly 2 hours to iron them all.

    • Glad you are a happy, repeat customer. Cheers mate.

      • Sooo is that a yes?

  • +1

Any tips on sizing ? my neck is around 37 ( measured with iPhone cable and ruler ) lol do i need to allow extra space ? just the deal ive been looking for ! thanks

    • +2

Just leave a single finger space between the cord and your neck so you don't choke yourself.

      Cheers.

      • Thanks mate ! ordered

I'm wearing one of mine right now, I'm not unhappy with the shirt at all but the quality has gone down from 5 to 10 years ago, unfortunately Chinese manufacturing has impacted Van Heusen and Pelaco.
I got some from Pelacos website in the last week or two, specifically the technocotton range, because my other technocotton ones are incredible - very fine thread but lots and lots of it (thick shirt) - so it's very high quality, thick (not a damn see-through shirt) yet the fine print makes any colours on it look solid - not so anymore :/

Does anyone know where to find proper, proper good quality shirts anymore?

    • Hawes & Curtis

    • Abelard

      • Thanks gents, I'll check em out.

  • Hoping for a new range of classic cut Van Heusen in 42/82. Just need more of a range than the plain colours.

    • Not in the current range mate but will keep in mind for the future. Cheers.

  • Just got 4 shirts… I suppose when your paying $25 for a quality shirt you can't be too picky on styles.

    • Bargain!

  • Either I've got all the styles or TMS doesn't have any new stock of the Van Heusen shirts.

When can we expect new designs/styles rep?

    • We are just going into a new season, so we should get new styles coming through in the coming months.

  • Damn no more stylish black box :(

    • Never fear, Henray! The boxes are still being used, just not for deals such as this one.

    • These are in their original plastic packaging and then are wrapped in The Mens Shop tissue. They will be sent in the usual Australia Post satchel. Cheers.

  • Which ones are Euro and which ones are Slim?

    http://www.themensshop.com.au/Cotton-Studio-Euro-Fit-Self-St…

^ Says Eurofit in title, but in the description it's slim.

    • Sorry mate, our mistake. They are all Euro fits.

  • Awesome deal but hubby has Classic fit in the wardrobe atm. Any chance there will be a similar deal for them in the near future?

    • Keep watching Agatha, you never know what offer might come up next!

  • Just ordered thanks for the tip. Been wearing VHS for years.

    • No worries, enjoy!

  • +3

Maybe you should wear DVD now its more modern.

    • Blue Ray is another good way to go, mate!

  • With the van heusen business pants. What do the REG and ST stand for in length? Also, what wait would I be if I normally wear a 32inch x 32inch size pants?

    • Hey Jman89, you'd be a size 82 and unfortunately the VH business trouser only come in the 82 Reg.

  • These are the studio shirts and 100% cotton, I seem to remember last time multiple people posted that they were easily crumpled and hard to iron. Anyone already have these and care to comment? I usually try to shoot for the easy care ones.

    • I bought these last time and they are great shirts, however they do get very creased and are tricky to iron. With other shirts I own find if I put my washer on low spin and shake them before hanging, I can often get away without ironing, but no way with these babies. In fact when I travel for work with them I don't even bother to iron them before I go because I know I will just have to iron them again before wearing

      • The ones I got are not that bad and not the worst I have had from van heusson though they do crease somewhat easier than the Hardy Aimes which are the best for crease resistance & Ironing.
These are not as easy to iron as Ralph Lauren and slightly less than the Trent Nathan.
While thay arent my fav I like wearing them and they are a good shirt, for $32 thay are esp. good.

  • Dammit I dont really wear shirts day to day….but now I feel the need to order some! Van Heusen shirts are really nice quality and it seems silly not to buy some

    • +1

You can never have too many shirts!

  • Do all 37s have 82 sleeves?

    • Yes, all 37's come with an 82 sleeve!

  • Damn you Mens Shop
    Must resist.
    Resistance is futile…

Suppose I need more shirts to go with the 3 mens shop suits
    and 25 other mens shop…….
and 7 ties (omg NOT mens shop)

    Seriously
A couple more shirts and I will only have to do washing once a month
So naturally I went for 5 this time though I much prefer the Trent Nathan…

Apparently I am going to look like an italian soccer star in Moroco
Hmm does that mean they come with something extra?
    :-)

    • I'm sure you're rockin that Moroccan soccer star look Sirplus!

    • Sounds like you might be our biggest fan!

  • +1

This is a great deal, but I think I'll wait for the slim fits.

Also just wanted to say, I've bought from TMS a few times now, and am always pleased with my order. Not only do they offer better prices than brick and mortars, but they deliver quickly and the packaging is always classy.

    Good on you TMS!

    • Cheers The Batman ;o)

  • Hey guys. I usually wear Rhodes and Beckett. Any comments on how these compare in terms of cut and quality? I'd imagine R&B would be better (at more 2x-3x the price), but still keen to hear.

  • As usual, a pleasure. Thanks guys…glad I didn't take Myer up on the $25 Reserve Business shirts!

    • Happy to help Scarface. BTW- Cool name!

  • my current shirt show neck 40 and sleeve 82, which size should I pick?

    • Hey mate I would suggest getting a size 40, but this comes with a sleeve length of 86 by default. Of course you can take the shirts to a tailor to get the sleeves shortened if you require.

  • My current shirt size: 17 34/35, which one to choose?

    • Size 43 would be the way to go mate!

  • +1

I have seen same style shirts since very long time, This should be called as a Stock Clarence Sale…

    • Our new season stock is on its way Sid, so keep watching!

  • cheers mate

    • Happy to help Boomerpro!

  • Anyone know when a new shirt deal (from anyone?) is on - I ruined one of my Van Heusens from MensShop.
I got my 2 Pelaco shirts from their website, I slightly prefer the material, its' softer / nicer - good shirt. I think I paid 40$ each (including shipping) for 2 though.

I want something superior to Van Heusen at 45$ per shirt (or less!) including shipping. - Nice thin thread (soft) yet lots of it so it's still thick and damn translucent! :D

    Thoughts?

  • Any deals on van heusen shirts coming up? looking to buy quite a few!!!

    • Mate we have a great offer at the moment on the site:

BIRTHDAY50 - this coupon gives you $50 off when you spend $100

Or, go to the St Patrick's day $100 deals (number 1) and get three VH Studio shirts and more for $100: http://www.themensshop.com.au/St-Patricks-Day-Package-Deal-O…

      Cheers mate.

      • I'm not unhappy with the quality of the Van Heusens but when are you going to do a deal on some really top shelf shirts? Thick, quality material yet with fine thread, good print and good fit.
Yes I expect them to cost more - but considering China makes most clothes now, even the high quality stuff should be cheaper to produce and drum up a deal for.

        • We will certainty look into this request for you.
          Thank you for the feedback!
