ADrive Free 50GB Cloud Storage

10

ADrive gives you 50GB free online cloud storage. It is ad-supported and doesn't have collaboration like Box.com or Google drive, but it's 50GB free with larger file size allowances, vs those other services' 5/25GB free with more features.
On the signup page click "personal basic" at the bottom of the list of plans.

Limitations of the Personal Basic Plan:

  • Ad supported Android / Apple iOS App
  • No online collaboration
  • 2GB Individual File Size Limit(2GB per individual file, you still get 50GB total space)
  • Mandatory Banner Ads & Marketing Emails
  • Limited Technical Support (forum support only)
  • Web Interface Only

I just signed up, despite reading the comments from the previous dupe threads here. As expected, the site is well plastered with banner ads. A little less expected for me, though, is that you have to pass a CAPTCHA/Turing test every time you log in to the website (unless you go premium).

    • thx save my time. i pass

ditto, that alone kills it for me

Yep. I've now signed in 3 times since I opened this account. The FLASHY FLASHY FLASHY banner ads everywhere RIGHT IN YOUR FACE and the captcha on every login just plain suck. I cancelled my account.

        • That's a terrible policy for a company to adopt. I can see ADrive being short lived unless they remodel quickly.

also the site isn't secured with the HTTPS, which means your password can easily stolen.

      • ^ this

  • Not really a special, box has done this before and Mega currently does this and will soon have some mobile apps.

  • Yeh, signed up for ADrive. Not very fond of the website, so I left.

Tried Adrive once, found it painfully slow, like 14.4k-modem-to-a-floppy-drive slow.
