  • Is it only certain states? The price comes up as $29,990 for me

    • Same 4 Me (QLD)

    • Same for NSW. It came up as $29,999 Driveaway with Auto & $2,000 Free Extras.

When I was in the Hyundai dealer this week, this deal was offered to me, I'm unsure if I will go this or a Toyota rav4. These are quite nice to drive.

  • +10

drive 5m after buying and lose half the value…not really something ozbargainers do

    • +1

well not a half) about 20%

  • +3

Oh wow such a bargain! Gonna go pick up 5 of these…

  • +12

Any 'advertised price' is a not a bargain.
To buy a car you need to work hard to nag down on price in person.

  • +39

The only good thing about this "deal" is if u turn the model name "ix35" upside down and it would be perfect for today being valentines day haha

    • I see what you did there… ;)

    • +10

      I have a tablet. Problem.

      • +6

turn off auto rotate you silly.

      • Put flat on table. Turn around. No problem.

        • got it… LOL

    • +2

I'm gonna buy one and roll it onto its roof, just to make KaiKat's day! :)

  • +2

If the normal Price is $26,990 then this is not a bargain, a bargain would be the normal price with all the extras.

Is this a Auto?, I cant even see why its this much.

    • ah How odd lol I get a price of $26,990 and auto is 2 grand more…
(oh its the crappy website keeps going back to the wrong price…. Im out of here I dont care anyway.)

  • Specs are good though for the price

  • +7

    thanks OP! just bought one!

    • Hi Jetli,
I am interested in buying this. Did hyundai offer any discount on this car.
      Cheers,
      Pun

    price match at OW?

  • what?? NO FREE SPOILERS? NO SPINNERS?
    neg!

  • +5

damn, i just bought a rolls after the recent price reduction. can't afford this deal

  • Even if your local dealer had it listed for more than this price you would be able to haggle easily down to the OP price. Heck i bet youd be able to haggle the OP advertised price down even further.

  • -6

if remove the last zero I would consider this a bargain.

  • +1

Test drove it last week, no power…..so slow off the start. Also wife thought it was tinny. Good looking car with heaps of extra's and the price is certainly negotiable. Test drove the Mitsubishi ASX Aspire today, thought it was a much better car for the same money.

    • +3

Test drove it last week, no power…..

Did you turn on the ignition first?

  • removed

  • I can get this cheaper at JB Hifi!

    Not a bargain.
Just trying to get free advertising!
Hey I had to justify my neg, justify yours… Still NoT a Bargain.

    • -1

      It's not a rep.

      • +2

fair enough, but can also be seen as 'has not identified him/her self as a rep or claims to not be a rep'(1st post… fishy!).

  • +1

Cars…? Really…? Where does the line get drawn ? No Deal ! Anyone thinking of a new car would not be browsing Oz Bargin for it lol

    • -1

I would! Hey if you can get a deal on vag cream why not cars?

  • +2

    RRP, not a bargain.

    • -3

      No it's not

      • Newspaper had it in there for that price….

And Website shows 29,990. Which is always an inflated price. So 28,990 is more so the dealers RRP, which you could easily reduce further with some haggling

  • No deal here. Web site just shows $29,990. If your going to post a deal make sure you like to the details and advertised price on your web site. Just linking to a web site with the standard RRP is not a deal.

  • $21,990 because to me this car is only worth $21,990 and that's with AUTO , all the extras 5 years servicing, warranty, roadside assist, driveway price, THEN that's a (oz)Bargain. (oh, did I mention, IT MUST HAVE A quadCam V6 or I'm not gonna p!ss on it!)

  • First of all the price shows "From 29,990". Secondly, I won't buy Hyundai after terrible experience that I have had with Sonata Elite, which they couldn't repair under warranty for over 6 months. I found their Head Office Customer service terrible. They simply didn't care.

Oh BTW, The Walking Dead! :D

    • i watched it Tuesday night and thought the same thing, doesn't look like its called an ix35 in the show?

  • I would like to buy this car, can anyone beat this bargain. Is hyundai offering it for $29000 (including metallic paint). Did anyone bought this.

    • Mitsubishi might, did you try them?
