    Just be reminded that this has the older DiG!C 4 Processor and many current Canon compact P&S are already using DiG!C 5 which is about 6 times faster and is able to analyse 4x more image data to create each pixel; thus, recording more detail from a scene. But then again, it probably doesn't matter for those who are moving up on a tight budget.

      Not all Dig!c 5 processors are the same. Can't compare P&S processor with DSLR processor. DiG!G 4 wasn't bad to start with.
