  • They should really put counter there in order to let us know if it is genuinely first 350 surveyors. I do see a problem with people stop filling the form after it passes 350 though.

    • In such case, they will only receive 350+ feedbacks. But the intention is to get as many feedbacks as possible for the same number of games given away.

      • They also have a competition to win a few other gadgets for those completing the survey.

    'When do you normally watch tv?' and one of the options is 'on the drive home'. Although I guess if you have tv streamed through your phone or tablet then it could work….odd choice though!

    This is one of the worst surverys I've ever seen, especially the marketing/advertising related questions. I have no idea how they plan to obtain any useful information from it given it's structure, but I'll happily take a game from them if they're offering!

  • Most likely, it's a disc in an envelope that came with some graphics card, "not for individual resale". I think I may even have one lying around.

    Ubisoft loves to include free games in graphics cards.

    What about if you shop less often than once a month? I think it's kinda silly having both "Once a Week" and "Up to 4 times a month", but no "Once every few months" or "Once a year"

    Hi Everyone,

    Thanks for the feedback. I've made a few of the fixes to the questionnaire with some of the minor issues that were raised and i want to clear up a few things with everyone,

    1) Yes, it is a full LEGIT copy of Assassins Creed (the original) as a physical disc only.
    2) There are other prizes up for grabs

    We didn't expect such a massive response (thanks partly due to it making it to OzBargain) so we are currently discussing the logistics of doubling the amount of game copies we will give away! (not a promise just yet!)

    Looking over the answers briefly though i can say that it seems a very high number of you are 'Very Satisfied' in general with Centre Com. I can assure you the prizes will be picked at random regardless of how bad you want to slug Centre Com, so please, be honest! We can't fix things we see our customers are happy with!

      I wouldn't be drawing any conclusions from that data.

      I think you're hugely underestimating how unrepresentative those answers are, given how poorly structured it was and how a lot of people would have rushed through it to ensure they were eligible for the prize.

      Where was the question about what I associated with the Centrecom brand? Who do I compare you to? (edit - you have a similar question, but why are you jogging my memory about your competitors by giving me a list of them?) Do you even try and measure your brand equity?

      Spend some money and get some proper market research done.

        Who do you feel offers you the best Customer Service:

        • CentreCom
        • CPL
        • MSY

        Then repeat the question substituting Service with PRICE, RANGE, OVERALL PURCHASING EXPERIENCE.

        I don't think people consider CPL dodgy for example, and in contrast to CentreCon. CPL also have a product range that IMO is almost second to none in their price bracket.

        As far as I know, neither MSY or CPL have been caught out using SockPuppets at forums like this….and that made a huge impact against CC.

          They are probably the most hated PC retailer in Aust.

          MSY have never been regarded highly either, other than for price. Their service was always awful, though in the last few years it seems to have improved a lot.

          That's a pretty big caveat.

      • It's not about drawing big major conclusions from. It's simply enough for us to prioritize the changes we have in the pipeline according to the feedback.

        A lot of those questions you ask we already have the answer to, we're after something different and the survey has what we need.

    If I wasn't still waiting over 3 weeks with no communication after sending my product in for repair I probably would have had glowing reviews. :(
