  • you'll probably find that the voltage is built to north american standards (120v) and incompatible here in Australia without a stepdown transformer

    Anyone wish to comment ?

    Plus Dyson AU probably wont cover warranty for this

  • This deal really sucks!! (could.. not… resist!!)

  • or Dyson DC44 Animal $465 from Bing Lee. Local Warranty, 220v, and you can have it tomorrow (literally). Just walk in to any bing lee and ask for that price.

    • DC40= upright vacuum
      DC44= handheld stick

      Completely different categories, but US uprights=US voltage which need a voltage converter.

    • I paid $420 of a DC44 local stock.

      • where is that? i am after a DC44..

    wrong voltage for local use… if you want to import a dyson look at amazon in uk, de, fr etc etc (I purchased one from a previous deal posted for amazon.de)

    buying a vacuum that requires a voltage converter is not a deal

    • +2

      Yes, and you would probably need quite a hefty converter not one of the small cheap ones…

      Not a good purchase for Australia.
