  • Has someone in sydney try to price match this at any shops?

    • Why would you bother? Just buy it online

u srs mate, this is ozbargain. $19!

        • +1

Any store price matching is going to include the shipping cost anyway

And even if they don't, cost your time, car wear and tear and petrol and you'll lose out…

local warranty >> having to ship item back if faulty/breaks down

        • +1

It's an Xbox dude - when have you ever heard of them breaking down… oh wait

        • If it fails you don't take it back to the retailer, it goes back to Microsoft, so it's irrelevant whether you buy it from Sydney, Melbourne or Perth

    • I also am keen on this- $129 is sooo good! Would kmart or target match? It is an actual store (not jsut online) so why would it include shipping?

      • Because they're matching the price you can buy for, thats the price plus the shipping, and most large retailers won't match online deals anyway, you really are wasting your time, it's AU stock so warranty isn't an issue

Picked one up from the last deal - whacked a 32gb NANO drive in the back and works a treat.. Fast delivery.

Perhaps mln can do a Kinect + 320Gb combo deal?

  • saw 3 320GB drives with bonus lego star wars in kmart Darwin 2 nights ago for $99 so it might be worth calling your local kmart if you pick one of these up.

    • Kmart Stanhope Gardens NSW has these for $99 too

  • How heavy would this be? Currently in Melbourne and keen on picking one up to take back to Perth

      12.2 x 11.7 x 7.3 inches ; 10.4 pounds
from amazon US so would be pretty much the same as what we get here im thinking. it would go fine as carry on and fit in the overhead luggage OK.
You might find it difficult plugging it into the toilet powerpoint and playing it on the those small screens on the chairs unless your in business class i think

Just a heads up guys, since I decided to register just now after lurking for years I can't post the deal myself but Target have 320GB HDD's for $59.88 in store. I just grabbed one at Target Broadmeadows and they had a 5 or 6 more in the display. There is no pricing displayed.

    Here is proof - http://i.imgur.com/7RcSuOx.jpg

    • It's already been posted.

      • Ah missed that one. Was more for those posting about Kmart's $99 deal above. Surprised the deal is still going over a month later :)

    • There was a posting re this a few days ago - was being sold online. The 88 cents on the end means its a clearance product… Unfortunately none in my part of the world (and I've tried 4 stores)…

  • excellent!!!

  • Any stock left in West Melbourne?

    • Had around 7 left sitting on the floor

  • I've got a PS3 and a Wii (for the kids). Use my PS3 as a media centre also. Why buy an Xbox? Halo as much chop on this system as it was on the original Xbox? Other than certain exlusive games the 360 can't do anything the PS3 can't?

    • Foxtel

      • Thanks - I hadn't realised that. Do you need an Xbox Live subscription or are there other ways having Foxtel on the 360?

        • Yes you need Xbox Live Gold, and preferably Telstra for your internet as they don't count Foxtel quota :)

Otherwise you need a plan with 200Gb a month to cover the data usage.

You can also get Netflix as well using various tricks, but the other platforms can do that too.
