  • Looks to be the cheapest from my quick look on Staticice by $25 and free postage. So tempting… but I'd prefer a higher resolution.

Also, does anyone have buying experiences to share regarding iibuy? Good, bad, unknown?

      • No dramas really. Ordered from them quite a few times.

I got some S2240Ls (smaller version of these) from iibuy. I enjoy the IPS panel. Lots of glare (compared to TN LED screens) on these as its glass over the display.

These monitors took a while because they were being shipped from QLD and said there were issues with warehouse/transit. Doesn't surprise me because of the weather up there.

Reminder: No VESA slots for <27" of this S range. I learnt this the hard way :( You can get VESA adaptors from a guy in Canada for $20 + $20 shipping. Only place on the net I found them though. I did buy some, yet to test out.

      • I won't buy anything from iiBuy anymore.
They did sell a defect monitor to me and refused replacement.also lots of negative feedback in their ebay store. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/93688

  • no display port - eyefinity support…:S

actually should probably clarify before someone else says it…

you need at least 1 display port for eyefinity in your lot of 3 monitors…- and dells usually have display ports… but not this one.

  • Dell need a 27" 16:10 monitor. 1920x1200 would be perfect.

I don't care about higher resolution at in a sub 30" monitor, my tired old eyes don't need it in 27" format but losing the horizontal real estate I've enjoyed for so many years on my 24" screens is a deal breaker.

Closest monitor I've found is the ASUS VW266H (26.6"), but unavailable in Australia.

Just remember the Dell 48hr sale is on atm and you can get the higher res 27" with displayport for ~$200 more.

  • I wonder if Dell would match the price if you call them?

  • I got the AOC 28" IPS from PCDIY for $300. I am happy with that monitor.

    • Do you have the model number handy there? Would like to buy one for myself as well. Thanks.

      • I'd like to know too.

According to AOC's website, they don't have a 28" model. I think he means 27" which they do have.

        • Here is the link:

I got it for the same price.
It's a great monitor, just had to change the ATI software to disable scaling.
Note, it does have a border, but getting a border less one is not cheap.
