Just bought myself one. Cheapest on Camelx3- just got my email notification. As always pay in US$ and use your 28 degrees credit card or similar fee free credit card.
Apparently $150 at national geographic shop and $104 from graysonline. But cheapest on ebay is $43.50- so thats a more accurate representation of the price.

      and what about battery life? How many hours do you get out of the standard cheap "Homebrand" batteries? I never trust the manufacturers on this kind of information.
