  Damnit! I just paid circa $19 for a pair of 450ml double walled glasses like these from aliexpress, and they won't be here for a month! gaaaaah! :-)

  There are plenty of cheap double walled glasses about lately. The best I saw was Kmart 4 x 250mL for $9 and for larger 400mL you can get 2 for $10 everyday price at Cheap as Chips http://www.cheapaschips.com.au/estore/style/ka5250.aspx

  I think these would be 3 x 250mL and the latte ones 2 x 400mL

  Not bad but no Aldi in Adelaide yet.

    Kmart quality is very bad and not dishwasher safe.

    This is a better deal.

    +1 for the Kmart ones, i use the at work everyday, good quality epecially for the price!
    At home i have the bodum ones (4x times more expensive) and one broke already.
    I will might try the Aldi ones as well and see how good they are

    Wiki says pyrex is made of borosilicate glass, which makes it safe to microwave

  Anybody knows if the glass break easily can I put milk in the glass and heat in the microwave.

    Should be ok.
    According to ALDI, they are Resistant to sudden temperature change with difference up to 140C

    The set I got from Target said not to be used in microwave. I think this is because the the air between the walls may expand quickly and burst the glass.

  Has anyone used the capsule stand? i wonder if it fits the Dolce Gusto capsules(They are bigger than the nesspresso /expressi pods)

  These will be the cheap nasty glass similar to the S&P dual walled glasses. Won't even feel like glass.

  The good ones are Bodem. Myers had them for $14 for 2 the other week. Usually they're $30 for 2.

    yes, Bodum are good and expensive so $14 for 2 is a good price. They break easily though…

  Went into the shop expecting the glasses would be cheap/nasty/thin but walked out with 2 boxes of them since they actually felt solid, substantial and pretty decent.
