Saw this in another website, and went in to the shop to inquire!

    When it's a modest discount on something that seldom varies in price (eg. game consoles, iPod/Apple, Dyson vacuum cleaners lol, etc), then I'd say it definitely deserves a spot on this site.

    This is a pretty good price with the bonus game included, however if anyone is looking for a Jasper I don't think there's any in Elite form just yet.

  umm 499 is the normal price at jb hi5 which have being for some time already alone with teh free games. if you really want maybe can ask jb for a better quote as you can bargin at jb but not at EB

  Hmm JB Hifi don't include Far Cry 2 - they have Rainbow Six Vegas and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway in their pack and it's $549…..

  IMHO Far Cry 2 blows, and so does Rainbow Six.

  Hells Highway is a good game but too short in single player mode.

  This is not a bad deal if you like Far Cry 2 or can trade it for a decent price (I suspect trade value is no more than $30).

  A lot better than nothing….

  Far Cry 2 itself costs a decent amount.

  I got the $549 pack a month ago and the kungfu panda and lego game are in one game box with 2 discs inside. Just something to be aware of for those that aren't impressed with those surprises when you open the box. This is a deal as the elite doesn't often drop below the $500 mark especially with a good game like Farcry2 included.
