The only place I know the local area and tourist stuff well enough to compare prices is Bali.
Almost everything is between 50% and 1,000% more than normal local prices.
For example, a simple Airport-Hotel transport has these prices on viator:
Kuta, Legian or Seminyak From USD$18.66 ~ 181,000Rp
Sanur or Nusa Dua From USD$20.00 ~ 194,000Rp
Ubud, Uluwatu or Canggu From USD $22.66 ~ 220,000Rp
Candidasa From USD$34.66 ~ 336,000Rp
Careful note on the "From"… it likely means that price to the nearest place listed and more for the furthest.
An official airport stand taxi when you arrive costs:
Kuta, Legian or Seminyak 45,000-60,000Rp
Sanur or Nusa Dua 95,000-110-000Rp
Ubud, Uluwatu or Canggu 135,000-195,000Rp
Candidasa ~335,000Rp
So only the Candidasa one is even close to the price of the official airport taxi stand (which is expensive compared to normal local prices, a trip to Kuta would cost you 15,000-25,000 without using the stand).
Another example would be the white water rafting for US$71.10 which can happily be had for $38… before you haggle (I've done it for $25).

Not bad. For those who haven't heard of Viator, they are mostly a wholesale company and are used by a lot of the major travel agencies such as Flight Centre Group. You can find tours/activities cheaper at the destination in a lot of Asian countries but Viator are very reputable and use respected operators with proper insurance, etc.
