DeLonghi Nespresso Pixie Coffee Maker EN125LPLUS $189 (Lime Green Only)

Was on the lookout for one of these since missing the amex deal. After looking around both online and instore, found this deal that is quite decent at $189 compared to $349 retail at most other stores and even after bargaining at the lot, the best I was able to bring it down is $296. This price is also instore because I couldn't wait to get one online (or pay for shipping).

Comes with an Aeroccino Plus machine and I think 16 pods (could be wrong on number of pods). I was told this is due to the Good Guys recently purchasing the rights to sell the Lime Green color in Australia. The other stores can still sell the lime green until they run out of stock but thats it.

I was wondering how this is different from the Nespresso U (which I'm selling if anyone's interested)
Found this easy comparison: Nespresso Citiz vs Pixie vs U vs Essenza - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uJqaSKnyvo

My company put a couple of these in the kitchen about a month ago and I have to say the quality of the coffee is rather good (for a company kitchen that is). We're using the D'Or and Nespresso pods. It's making about 50+ cofffees a day with no problems.
So, I bought the bargain above today for home, after almost buying one last week at DJ's for $330. Happy.

  • Oh, and 5 diff Good guys in QLD has instore redemption programs until 28th March. They are Rozina, Helensvale, Carseldine, Bundall, and Mt. Gravatt.

Purchase $250 on home appliances and/or airconditioning on one invoice, get $25 Store Credit. Up to a maximum of $250 (which requires a $2500 spend).

So, if you purchased some pods and the pod hanger, you would get $25 store credit sent through mail.

Any idea on differences between this one and the one OP posted?

    • the one you mentioned is a cheaper version….E125LPLUS is a better version and it came with 2 years warranty instead of 1.

      • Thank you! Just purchased it, first ozbargain/deal purchase :)

        • Glad you like it bwen. I'm very happy with mine. Its my first ozbargain post that actually made the front page as well :)

rzen posted a cool link comparing all the 4 nespresso models: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uJqaSKnyvo

The Essenza is the most basic version of them all and least accomodating for bigger mugs.

  • awesome was looking for a cheap pixie! Bought. The link is to the Maitland store however you can buy from the regular online store too.

    Thanks. Just bought one today.
Nespresso's having a $60 cashback offer for purchases made between 25/3/13 - 19/05/13. Not sure if this applies to the $189 Pixie that i bought but I'll mail my form and give it a go.

Seems you can get $60 cashback from Pixie, they won't care how much you paid for it. So it will make it down to $129. Nice find.
