Limited stock around Sydney means no stock.

  • Couple of stores have display units only
Discontinued models they don't sell them anymore.

  • They have had no landline phones whatsoever at our local store for the past 3 or 4 years

Where can I find cheap cored phones nowadays, they are disappearing…

    • I still find corded phones from random opshops, reject shops, sams warehouse.

none in reject shop..(they dont sell it i think)
        Sams warehouse probably!!
TELSTRA SHOP == YES ..and for $69 …..WTF!!!

who uses landline phones anyway~~~ maybe the oldies only!!
My home phone is used for picking up telesales and junk calls!!

          Clearly you do. lol

And apart from you, a lot of people do, and they're not all oldies. Some of those have no choice, because they cannot get mobile phone reception at home, and you don't need to live in the sticks for that to be the case.

    • yeah…Kmart $15 bucks corded phones are waiting for stock from China. Have been waiting for 3 weeks…..no one uses corded anymore?
What about Blackouts? and what about when ur Mobile runs out of battery. We have more cyclones coming to brisbane I am sure!!

    • Thanks guys for the tips, will go check out my local Kmart later… My dad just told me that Binglee can actually order cored panasonice phone for $30 sth… might go check it out…

      • They are more expensive than the cordless one!!!

        • good guys' is $0.00?! :)

        • Cordless ones have a bad habit of not working if you have a power outage. It's a good idea to have even a cheap corded phone on hand for such times. Mobile phones can go flat if you can't charge them, and you can't rely on mobile phone towers not to go out in a storm.

        • +1 always have a corded phone and power pack
