The problem is when you go in store you are going to buy more than just this.

    • Telstra shitty customer service and system problems, priceless for everything else there is mastercard

      • to be honest, I would prefer telstra customer service over optus any day. Optus easily gets the bottom for customer service.

Anyway you have to go for the eggs which Coles Woolis don’t have.

      • Drake's and IGA's around SA have cheaper eggs.
        700gm cartons for $6.

        • +1

$12 for 30 eggs is cheap enough during the shortage and Costco doesn’t jack the price. Now I go big shopping at Costco and small shopping at Aldi. I don’t trust Coles woolis anymore.

  • How long do I've to activate it?

Could you price beat at OW?

    • +1

      Not anymore

    • +1

No longer can. OW changed their policy.

      • Damn!

        • The Gravy train is over 😱

    • -1

You couldn’t anyway because Officeworks don’t have the same deal having a bonus $35 shop card which is not identical!!!!!

      • +1

        okay sorry!!!!!!!!!

  • Would this be for the full Telstra 5G network? Might be good to change from my aldi $29 plan at that price!

    • +2

      Yes. Full network

  • +1

Can this be used to recharge an existing Telstra pre-paid number?

    • Last time I tried, you could not. I had to port out and then activate the Telstra SIM with port in.

  • Damn just after buying another block with Boost.

  • Does this work with iwatch sim sharing ?

    • No. No prepaid plans offer number sharing with a wearable device.

  • Thanks OP. Was about to jump to boost. Just picked up line from store now.

  • Silly question, my boost mobile ends in a few werks. I assume I can jump onto this deal even though they're on the same network?

    • @jeimuzu, I just jumped from boost to woolworths (which is also the Tel$tra network) and it was no problem.

      • Awesome, thanks for confirming @copperboy

    • I did this last week, no issues

      • Thanks for reconfirming @BargainMe

  • I should be able to port from prepaid Boost to this Telstra without any issues, right?

  • So how do you claim the $35 shop card? Is it sent automatically to your registered email?

    • that is what they told me, may take up to 20 days.

    • Correct.

    • Does the $35 shop card only go to Costco members email, or to the owner of the sim purchaser once activated?

      • Update.

Just got 3x prepaid cards, the expiry date on the cards are 12/11/2026. For the bonus data, activate the service by 07/07/2025

Lastly, the $35 bonus shop card will go the email of the registered Costco members account.

Anyone in Melbourne that can help me get one? Message me.

    • DM me.

Will see what I can do after 16 June. Currently away.

  • I still have 100GB of Boost data left my, myBoost expired on in January 2026.

  • if already with telstra how do you get this deal?

  • so costco went to the dark side that being telstra.

  • I'm assuming this won't work for gift card shoppers like me? Lol

  • Not being facetious but how is this a good deal when you can get 300GB for $159 from Kogan with the usual unlimited calls and texts.

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-365-day-prepaid-pl…

    • 5G and better reception in some area, may be?

      • Kogan I believe is Vodafone, rather than Telstra

    • Again, as mentioned in other posts, the isp can give you 1000GB but less presence network or throttle control is meaningless, so you choose yours
For me, i tried to leverage my work sim using Voda, and i am so regretting about this decision, the network is not even working when you're travelling on train or in the centre

    • In my experience

Kogan is fine in very built up areas, even faster than telstra.

It rapidly falls away in regional areas that'll have you wishing you spend the extra $100 just so you can use your data whilst on holidays

  • I assume this deal is as good as boost or even better? I am with boost but reception is bad in where I live, cut off call all the time. not sure if that is due to Volte wifi phone call. as my internet is HFC it has hops.

  • Does anyone have any recommendations for customer service f Telstra? How is the network and Is it stable?

  • Unfortunately, everyone has different opinions on both of these areas. Regarding the networks, all of them have black spots. Telstra has the best rural coverage of all of them. It is an individual case for everyone. Might be best to buy a cheap SIM card and see how the coverage is in your area first and see how reliable it is.

  • It’s a good deal, but the sims are speed capped. Says it on the pack.

    • Apparently it's 150mbps max
