Went into Dick Smith to pick up this deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97320 and found they have all blu-rays $5 individual movies and $20 blu-ray box sets.

Obviously I spent more than I intended.
Grind house box set, predator collection, ultimate gangster collection were some of the box sets as well as quite a few individual movies.

I could easily have spent $150 but stopped myself at $75.

      Lol, I called my mum in Dubbo and she went down and cleaned them out around lunchtime on Thurs. Also found several titles that were listed as out of stock.

        She didn't do a very good job as I got Rocky boxset and Harry Potter there on Saturday and there were literally loads left of various boxsets and movies.

        Edit/ just popped in and bought Magnificent 7 boxset, AvP 1/2 and Xmen First class for $5 each! Still 100 or so movies there but only q few boxsets now like Fast Furious and Predator Trilogy.

          As you have pointed out:

          there were literally loads left of various boxsets and movies.
          She was first in but we didn't see much reason to get 3 copies of things.
          Ended up with about $150 worth but left plenty for you

          Plus I was simultaneously working through my local in Vic so we weren't doubling up.

    ok so i got black swan, deathly hallows part 1 and the ultimate gangster collection but i'm now thinking i most likely will never watch them, so if anyone wants to buy them off me for the price i paid for them ($5, $5, $20 respectively), let me know! i live in Springvale (VIC)

    Don't rely on the low stock items. I called a store with some low stock items and they basically told me they never sold blu-ray and if they had, what stock they did have would have been transferred to other stores.

    I went into Perth store yesterday and there was still a mix of good and crap left. Having said that I still bought a few discs. One ended up being a bonus because the security strip scratched the DVD, which came with the blu-ray. So I got it for 2 instead of 5!

    Got Rocky Anthology yesterday for $20 (7 disc set including all 5 movies) and Harry Potter TDH Pt2 (Triple Play) for $5. Great sale, still piles of movies in Dubbo.

        They had 2 early on Friday morning. When I got there around lunch time, I got the last one. Phoned up and asked to hold it, which they did. Apparently Chermside and Carindale had the Tarantino boxset, too.

        Sunnybank also had teh Rocky and Jurassic Park boxsets, too from memory.

        Nah. Would've cleared out the first day, they had signs at the front of the store and with Marions people traffic, the blurays didn't stand a chance.

    On the Gold Coast Robina and Mermaid Beach is sold out, however Southport has many single blu ray movies available for $5.00, but no box sets left. Not sure on other Gold Coast stores.

    I got 12 movies and 1 box set. So 15 movies all up. There wasn't many blu-rays left in stock. You need to get in early on these bargain sales.

    If you can still find some stock at your local store. Dick Smith has them down to $3.75 each. Found some more stock arrived at my local Dick Smith store. Picked up two movies today. Terminator 2 Skynet Edition blu-ray and Angels & Demons blu-ray for $3.75 each isn't a bad deal.
