Fluidtek is advertising the intel i7 920 for $199 when you purchase the MSI eclipse for $525.

This comes to a total cost of $724.00

Although fluidtek might not be the best for service and advice these prices are hard to ignore if you are in the market for an i7. This motherboard will want some 3-channel ram though and that aint cheap!

      ha! I have 3 systems with that sort of computer power…
      and I've been thinking upgrades are coming due soon!

      You don't have to be living on the edge to be watching for bargains

      ps - that mainboard is hellishly expensive but lol more fruit than an orchard…
      10 sata ports + 2 more e-sata, support for 3 way sli and crossfire graphics, x-fi sound (included but is really a pci-e 1x card), firewire (only 400, not the newer speeds) on top of all the usual stuff you expect in a performance mainboard
      noice… :)

    That's a bargain, but I'll wait til' new Intel mobos come out that support i7 but are sub $200.

    Fluidtek also have sweet prices on video cards, but service is abysmal :(

    I bought almost all my gear from fluidtek. The guy even game me a discount on the 9800 gtx cause i bought 2 for sli. Runs so well and he also game me 2 x 500 gigs cause he ran out of the package of 2 x 320 gigs and he gave the 500 gigs for the same price as the normal 320s :) THEY ARE A GREAT SHOP.

    They've upped the CPU price to $249, but it's still ~$200 cheaper than other stores (comparing bundled CPU price to standalone CPU prices).
