Kmart have started the 50% off on all easter chocolate. The prices kicked in around 9pm tonight and should be across the entire stores.

The 24 Hour stores (Burwood & Launy I'm looking at you!) prices will already be applicable. I got lindt bunnies at $2 each. Offer applies to all eggs, cadburys, red tulip etc, but not boxed chocolates such as Favorites.

Uploaded my recept from Launceston, where they had heaps left!! I assume all stores which open tomorrow morning will be offering the same deals. Happy Easter!

    Not much left at Geelong, a few bits and pieces, mostly boxed items that were overpriced to begin with. Only a couple of white lindt bunnies.

        It will vary state to state but in NSW they need to apply for an exemption to trade or meet certain criteria http://www.industrialrelations.nsw.gov.au/NSW_public_holiday…

        Where I live there used to be a car show at Easter, the first year everything was closed so the organizers got onto the council and the council pushed to get the area reclassified so retailers could trade all year except 2 days.

          This is all recent chocolate, checked expiry…most of it is 2014.

    The fiancé wasn't impressed that I was going to buy chocolate Sunday, so Saturday arvo I'm shopping around looking at full priced items…. Spent double what I would have Sunday. :(

    hmm cheap chocolate is good, but I am surprised they are discounting yet - Sunday is the day you are meant to give/receive eggs

    but then what holiday haven't retailers hijacked :(

    Damn I got back from Kmart around 8pm, they had loads of chocolate though nothing was on sale at the time.

      none of the chocolate was marked at half price, it was just word of mouth that it was going cheap. In a place like Launceston word spreads fast…especailly when people hear something is cheap…

    Seriously did it start at 9PM? Just bought some at like 8:59PM at full price last night just before the store closed. Should have waited around to scan them at 9:01PM if I knew…

    Guess I'll just have to go back again tomorrow and ease the pain buying way more than I can probably even eat…

    Nice work! went to local woolworths this morning to try and get some last minute bargains for the neice and nephew - no joy (stress starts to mount), so whipped out the smartphone - surely ozbargain can help me here…. 10 min later I'm at kmart Southland, bargains galore, (ahh releif!!)

    Turns out Kmart only store to do half price at Parkmore. Still marked at full price. Scan it and it will be less.

    Kmart Townsville, still has stock of Lindt Bunnies, Cadbury Bunnies, Cadbury Crunchie & Cherry Ripe Eggs and some 700gm/1kg Large Chocolate Eggs.

    Not huge amounts of stock. Will likely be gone by end of the day.

    Kmart Burwood VIC (24hrs) has no Lindt bunnies. They did have Mars/Nestle funpacks for $2 and Nestle chocolate blocks for $2. Note: no stock of Bounty or Kit Kat versions.

    there were lots of lindt bunnies left at kmart footscray. I only got a bit of chocolate though, otherwise I would just gorge! some people were filling up their baskets though! do they really keep it for next year, or do they just eat a lot of chocolate!
