  I got lucky with the preferred seating on the return trip from Auckland to Brisbane in Feb. Somehow I was able to select a premium economy seat for the same price as the standard cattle class. I was in seat 24k – anything from 23 & 26 on the AirNZ Boeing 777-200ER is a slice of heaven.

    Same here on the return to MEL. It was the only seat showing other than cattle, seemed rude not to click it. It was one of those fancy angled seats right up the front.
