Bit lame when we had this recently:

      You mean this?
      Dell UltraSharp U2410 — $489

If a $90 saving is lame, I guess this is lame!

Different model. The U2410M is a budget IPS and this one (without the M) is premium IPS. Cheapest price I've seen so far.

  • These have been there for a LONG time.

    Or were they $499? I can't remember.

Also outlet monitors only have 1 year warranty compared to retail one with 3 years warranty

      • IMHO these would have a "consumer guarantee" of at least 2 years. For me, it is a reasonable expectation that at $399 it would last at least 24 months and if it's the exact same monitor as the retail one then the warranty is 3 years. It is not ethical, as I understand it, to try to have different warranties for the same thing.

TL;DR Has a 3 year warranty according to Australian Law

Yeah, the previous Outlet price was $499 (which made them dearer than the $489 sale prices).

    • I've seen them go down to $489 frequently but never this cheap. Pretty good bargain. If I could I would buy 3 in one swoop.

I'm looking for a 1920 x 1200 so I can play 4 hands of poker on the one screen.

    • 16:10 is still readily available in 24" thankfully. Try getting it in 27" and you'll be pulling your hair out. Can't find much in that size unless you go uber professional ($$). So it's this or 30" for those of us who appreciate vertical real estate.

  • Fantastic comparison between this monitor and its replacement the U2413

  • Arghhhhhhhh at this price now I can't decide between this or the 2713H
