  • Hi Rep,

It would be great if you could do a deal on the Nokia N9 16GB Pink. :)

    Thank you!!

    • I saw two pink units at TeleChoice Chermside (Brisbane) marked at $150 or $199 (definitely below $200), but that was a couple of months ago. Some of their shops do stock discontinued models, I got a Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition for $63 last year ;)

      • Thanks, I guess I got negged (not from you) because it's a discontinued model and this is a better deal? Haha. I bit the bullet and got the Lumia 720 though, it's probably a lot better anyway. Lucky you getting a cheap phone!

        • +1

Gave you a +v to balance out the negative Nancy on the site that feels powerful giving a neg for a simple question.

  • Any idea about the availability of 64GB and black models for HTC One?? and Also will the HTC One bought from the US (outright) work here in OZ? was just looking at the HTC page..

    http://shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prI…

32 GB is US $ 575 and 64GB is US$ 650.. (LTE 850).. any ideas if that will be good to go in oz and warranty covered?

  • Kogan are selling the Nokia 820 for $299. Why would you even consider the 720 for the same price?. What am I missing?

    • +2

There is a thread on whirlpool asking the same question, have a read and make up your own mind.

I wouldn't get the Lumia 820 from Kogan though (it's $318 shipped btw), I'd prefer to buy the black one (Aus stock) from the OP's site for $419 + $13.80 shipping, claim the wireless charging shell and charger which worth $109.90 of the color I like from Nokia (http://www.nokiapromo.com.au/Home/), pay with my credit card to get 3 years warranty (2 years manufacture+ credit card)

    • Again, grey import vs. local Stock

    • local stock VS grey .

  • Hi Rep,

I have an order with you to pick up in store, any idea if you will still have enough stocks on launch day (23/04)?

    • We should have enough stock to cover the back order.

  • Rep. I see ETA for the 520 was yesterday.. Any word as yet?

    • Nokia lumia 520 850mhz is available now. thank you

  • the website says 175 for 520 and 345 for 720, whats going on?

    • +1

      Use the code

      OZB10OFF

      • thanks, dont know how i missed that :)

    • . delete (repeat post)

    • you need to apply the coupon code when you check out to get the special price. thanks

  • Interested to see your price for S4 on launch.

  • +2

Hmmm rep, how about a good deal for the Sony Xperia Z?

    • I am working ok Xperia Z deal, what' price do u need?

      • +4

        as cheap as possible :)

      • +2

Rep, im interested too in Xperia Z..will the deal posted anytime today ? Thanks.

      • +1

Well we've seen it in the $500s, now we're bored and want to see something better than that :P

        • For Australian stock $589 still the cheapest(grey import around $550 + shipping + 10% GST for busines , let me know if you found cheaper.

        • I noticed the white Xperia Z is now $599 while yesterday it was $589. Can you sell it for $589 or less? :)

  • Yeah rep im also very interested to see a preorder deal on the s4, current 799 price is normal price everywhere, are you guys gona reduce that near launch?

    • Let me check and come back to you ASAP, we should be able to beat the normal price

      • +2

Can't wait for this - if the price is good I'll be first to buy.

  • Do you guys stock 900 MHz for Lumia 520 ? I can only see 850 Mhz.

    • I have check with Nokia today, still No ETA for 900Mhz

  • what the different from i8730 vs i9305 they both say S3 4g but they are $250 different price

  • dup

  • The HTC One is ridiculously, unnecessarily powerful.

Is it possible to detect the difference between a 1080p and 720p on a screen that size? I doubt it.

    • It is.

  • Local stock means 2 years warranty in Australia from Nokia… Kogan means 1 year… But would still be nice too see 820 at same price :p

    • Does that mean the Harvey Norman one's aren't Australian? Cause they only have 1 year.

  • edit.

    • definitely. this is a good price

  • Hi Rep, will I be able to get the $165 price for the Lumia 520 if I just show up in store with a mention of this page? How long will this offer last for?
Also, I'm with Optus right now (actually signed up with Optus at your store last weekend). Is the 850mhz model (apparently designed for Telstra and Vodafone)compatible with my carrier?

    Cheers.

    • This offer finish on 18th April, just call our store mention about this deal and reserve the stock before you pickup.

      • Rep, can you possibly respond to the 850/900mhz question that's been posted by a number of us in this thread and the post by rsmoke just now. I'd have bought one already but no one appears to reply with a clear answer. Are there 900mhz versions of the 520 and/or does it work with Optus anyway?

        • It will work with Optus but you won't get Yes G (3G) everywhere as MobileCiti is selling 850Mhz which is good for Telstra/Vodafone.

      • Thank you for the quick reply.

Think I might pass on this one, since I plan to travel to places in Asia and apparently they run on 900mhz/1800mhz.

Which leads to my next question: When do you think you might get stock on the 900mhz models, if ever?

        Many thanks in advance.

EDIT: Actually, just another question to anyone who knows the answer: Does the 720 operate on both 850 and 900? If so, I might just go ahead and get that to save all the headaches.

        • Go to deal. Click the 720 and look up the product specs then you will know it is a YES.

        • Sweet, thanks!

Just waiting for the Rep's reply on the 900mhz model now.

        • I just with Nokia again, they don't have ETA for lumia 520 900mhz model.

        • Ah I see. Thank you.

Is it actuall Australian Sourced stock?
or is it Grey imported stock that you have in your AU warehouse?

Any chance of a deal on HTC one X or Galaxy Note 2 or Lumia 820?

  • To anyone in general, what will the performance of 850 Mhz model be on Optus network in CBD? I assume basic voice/data still works?

    • every thing should still work. It's fine unless you go out to rural areas

      • Thanks. It's for my dad, who has a work/personal phone on Telstra/Optus. He hasn't decided what purpose he'll use it for yet. Do you know if 3G Optus will still work as well?

        • +1

Did a bit of research, and as far as I can tell, if you have a 850mhz operating on Optus network, you can expect everything to be in order within the 3G Single Band region:
          http://www.optus.com.au/network/mobile/coverage?display=&net…
Don't forget to check the box for Single Band and look at the yellow areas.

Those of you more knowledgeable than I am, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

  • I'm getting: Coupon code "OZB10OFF" is not valid.

    • try again

  • Hi OP,
While ordering Lumia 520 850 Mhz and applying code it shows "Coupon code "OZB10OFF" is not valid."
    Am I missing something?

    • I think it's because the phone has been moved from the "Coming Soon" to the "Available" section, and the discount has not carried over. I was about to buy it just now too, but I'll need to wait until it's hopefully fixed.

      • Yup same issue here and i was soooo close to buying it …. buyer's remorse would probably catch up by the time they fix this issue and it would have been a lost sale for MobileCiti.

    • sorry, pls try again.

  • Code isn't working

    • Please try again.

      • +1

        Thank you. It works

  • Can't find 900mhz one.

    • NO ETA for Lumia 520 900mhz.

  • +2

    Hi rep,

Just wanted to say a big thanks for the extremely speedy service. I ended up biting the bullet and buying the Lumia 720 yesterday morning for my sister, and it has just arrived in the mail today!

So happy with Mobile Citi, I'll be definitely recommending you to family and friends! Thanks! :)

  • so what happened to a deal on the s4 rep you said you get back to us asap yesterday??

    • I will get ETA from Samsung this friday 19/04/2013

  • can the coupon code OZB10OFF be used for Lumia 820?

and can we redeem the bonus offer ? is mobileciti an authorized retailed?
    http://www.nokiapromo.com.au/Home/Details

    Thanks

  • Can you do any better deals on the Xperia Z ?

  • Can you do a deal + free shipping on Lumia 820 and 920 in white (or all colours)? Thanks.

  • Rep any chance of a deal on the S3 now that the S4 release is imminent?

Although it is a great piece of kit, to me it seems a bit overpriced at $499 given the HTC One, a brand new phone, is only c. $190 more (Great price on the One btw but funds can't stretch that far atm). I was hoping that with the release of the S4 the S3 would have dropped further in price.
