  • Topcashback work?

  • My mistake Lenovo 3c Smart Store link is https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005009177611245.html

  • +4

I have no idea if this is good I don't even need a tablet, why have I done this

    • +4

      you hate possessing money

    • You managed to get the deal? Couldnt get it below 331.81

      • +1

Yeah I got it like 3 mins after the post. If you want it you can have it, I seriously don't need it hahah

  • +2

Can't get it below $331.81 using both codes. What am I missing?

    • +1

Same. Price went up as I was checking out.

    • Going to be a repeat of last deal where I spent 30 mins failing to get it lol

  • +2

$331.00 is best price I could get using the listed coupons

    • Same. It doesnt work.

  • +1

returned to "normal price". seems OOS.

  • Have this tab and it's amazing. Bought it from the last deal

    • +1

      Whats amazing?

  • Anyone has received it from the last deal and examined the screen? Mine has pretty poor screen with light bleed, uneven brightness in some areas. Under near minimum settings, there are visible dark patches as well.

    • +2

My screen is incredible. No light bleed. Stunning.

      • Hows its compared Samsung tab s9

        • Different leagues. I don't have a Tab S9, but compared to my S24+ AMOLED screen, the difference is obvious. Contrast and uniformity is way worse. Expected, as the max brightness is only 400 nits.

          • +2

@pn: Then screen is not incredible

            • @Zeee: It's still great for the price, but don't expect to compare with the AMOLED in Tab S9. For watching movies, it's very good.

              • @pn: I have s9.

        • +1

Tab S9 better in the dark because of OLED. So better contrast, darker blacks.

Lenovo better if you want size.

      • +1

Thanks. I think I got a lemon. I'll to try "free return" and get the refund.

    • Yes, amazing screen. Sorry if you got a dud.

      • Good to hear it. Enjoy!
I really like everything else about the tablet. I contacted the seller to attempt a replacement but got no replies for several days. The day they did, I had already filed a return request with Aliexpress and got accepted.

  • My Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 (OLED) died at exactly 2years 1week, didn't inspire much confidence but Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 is the best value there is so I ordered one last week

    • My screen went after the same amount of time .
135 for a new screen but haven't bit the bullet because God knows how much it will cost for someone to install, don't have the patience to try myself and end up with a broken replacement screen

      • How do you know it's the screen?

I was busy with a gleam competition when the screen went off and that was that. I don't know if the screen died or something else. It won't charge, when I hold the power button theres a haptic feedback and that's all.

        • The screen started acting up for a few weeks before it finally died 98%
Even now if I charge it , I can sometimes have it work for a minute or 2 then dead again

          • @H-Culture: I think these tablets have desktop mode, if you have usbc to hdmi or something you might still be able to use it plugged into a monitor/tv

  • Any recommendations for something a little smaller?

    • The Xiaoxin Pad 11 2025?
      That's what I got.

      • hmm ~AUD110 cheap, 1.7" smaller, 90hz vs 144hz, half the CPU performance

  • What is the difference between limited sale and official standard? which one should i choose?

  • FYI, you can use it as a 2nd monitor wirelessly at 60hz with smart connect app already installed in the tablet. It will guide you to install the same app from Windows app store. Though the fluency of mouse is a little too smooth on it as a second monitor.
The smart connect app can do so much more, controlling tablet from within.
You can connect usb c to hdmi adapter or even a dock to use your TV or monitor as a second screen for the tablet with keyboard/mouse etc, haven't used it myself but saw the video.
This tablet has so much features, mind blown. Comes with native app for drawing (buy a dedicated pen , the case I bought together has a empty spot for the pen likely the spot is for charging the pen/holding magnetically).
    The tablet is super fast.
I am surprised why this is so cheap.

    • I couldn't get the display to extend to an external monitor when it's on PC mode. It does extend on tablet mode.
Apparently it can only mirror the display on PC mode. I'm hoping that they will enable it on an OS update soon.

      • it's all managed via the the screen connect app, did u check there?

        • I was using the USB-C to USB-C connection to an external monitor.

  • +1

can't get the same pricing. Am I doing something wrong?

  • +2

Couldn't get both coupons to work, ended up missing it.. Prices are up now..

  • +1

Why this is so cheap here vs $699 on Lenovo Australia?

    • +3

Chinese market has more competition e.g. Redmi/Xiaomi/Poco

  • So tempting but my P11 Pro 2020 is going strong…

Maybe if it'll drop below $200 I'll bite

  • Does the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 only comes with WiFi or is there another cellular version with 5G

  • +4

helly yea, i cant wait to browse ozbargain on this while im buying the next tablet on ozbargain. the future is great

  • +1

How is the Chinese language. I read that the latest is update borked something and even if you have it set to English some apps are still displaying the text in Chinese.

    • +1

The Chinese apps will display in Chinese, unless the app themselves have eng option. But you will need to use translator, maybe use Google lens live translator or something like that to check in the settings of the app if they have eng option.

    • This is correct. I have this tablet, after updating to Android 15, things like system menus sometimes show in Chinese instead of English. Didn't have that issue before. I'm hoping that they'll sort it out at some point. It's mostly usable, and weirdly, after rebooting, everything seems to be in english at least for a while.

      • Same with mine after the update, toggling from English to Chinese then back again in the system Language settings seem to fix it without a reboot.

  • Is it possible to put a global rom on it and still receive security updates?

  • Could not be bothered missing the deals by few hours no more so i got 256gb version Xiaoxin pad pro (12.7 2025) at 309$ including gst from another page on Aliexpress. Still descent price I guess

    • what page

      • the shop name is '70mai-Goldway Store
'. I found it via typing 'xiaoxin ipad pro 12 7' then sort by low price first. Used 30$ discount coupon for over 300$ or around.

    • +1

That's what I ordered from the last deal, think it was about 10% more ($27 at the time). Double the storage and only the 256GB has UFS4.0 it says.
Still waiting for it to arrive…

      • May I know when you ordered it? Mine says will take about 15-20 days.

        • 25/6. Last update was 30/6, package leaving country. ETA is 8/7

Some others have received though, someone said 9 days.

          • +1

@bamzero: Ahh, I feel that waiting pain too—I'm right there with you lol. Hope it comes through soon! Fingers crossed for both of us!

            • @Kemikemi: I ordered a case for it 3 days later which just landed in Perth. Looks like it might end up arriving before the tablet.

              • @bamzero: Same here haha!

                • @paaj: The race is on.. Auspost now has my case, tablet now at import customs clearance.
Case gonna win though, since it landed in Perth.

Had to check tablet tracking number BRxxxMG at Cainiao to get latest number which is LPxxxHK, Hong Kong post -> Auspost according to 17track. LPxxxHK number tracks with Auspost, and shows it landed in VIC so still has to make its way over to Perth.

          • @bamzero: I receied it yesterday. Ordered 3/7 so took me 12 days which was not tok bad. How dod you go?

            • @Kemikemi: 16 days from 25/7. Auspost got their hands on it 7/11 and got to Perth on the Friday (thankfully earlier than their ETA of Mon to Tues of the next week)
Not too bad, just a bit longer because it landed in VIC first instead of the ones that come straight to Perth and usually get in 9 days.
Needless to say, the case was here waiting for it :) Tablet itself is great.

        • Purchased 25/06. Received today 09/07

    • +1

Good price! I got it for $330 or so on Monday.

  • $324.96 with coupon: AUCD20

    (For me at least.)

  • +1

I bought one from the last deal posted.

I didn’t really need a tablet but it’s been a while since I’ve fiddled with an Android tablet and I had a few potential uses for it (watching in bed with wife and to use some apps that don’t work with iOS) so I thought why not.

I’m going to be honest, I’m a little disappointed.

The unit is well built, especially for the price but Android on a tablet is still painful and coupled with CN rom oddities it’s just an overall frustrating experience.

    1) Basically every single app I want to use needs some sort of work around to run as intended.

    2) Wifi 5ghz issues, have tried various fixes to unlock channels and muck around with other various CN rom limitations to no avail. It seems like my only option is to adjust to my home network to suit the CN channels which I honestly don’t want to do because I’ve spent a lot of time getting it running optimally.

I’ve spent more time in the past 2 days setting this tablet up than I have spent in the last 4 years combined on my 2 sons iPad Pro 11’s (2022 and 2023)

Obviously significantly more outlay for those 2 devices but they’ve already paid themselves off with years of life still to go.

Im a former Android power user that has slowly evolved in to valuing my time more and don’t want to spend a lot of time troubleshooting.

I grew up mucking around with Dos and Unix from the age of 5 and have always found enjoyment in tweaking and mucking around with tech but as you get older and time escapes you, I have started to slowly come to terms with this current “Plug n Play” era. This alluring tablet from the Orient has made me realise I don’t really want to go back to “Plug n Pray” era where Android on tablet and this Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 firmly remain.

It's always going to be "fun" when dealing with the China ROM on these Android tablets. The alternative is to pay $499-$699 (been as low as $425) for the local version with a Global ROM, though its matte screen finish is yuk. I also heard that the Android 15 update causes lots of problems so I am holding off updating until they fix that.

I deleted all the Asian apps and slapped Nova Launcher on it. This has effectively remove all the Chinese text which was particularly annoying when swiping up in ZUI. The only app I have an issue with is Facebook. Every time I log in it tells me I'm locked out, which I am not, as the web version works fine on the tablet & the app version works fine on my S25. I haven't experienced any wifi issues whilst using it on either the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz bands.

I spend quite some time setting it up and I agree, it's not as plug & play as an iPad. It likely won't have as many software updates or resale value. However, for $250, the impressive screen real estate, the 144Hz smoothness, the ability to run all the Android-only apps & the fact I only use it to watch stuff off YouTube, Kayo, Stremio, etc., makes this a great buy for me.

I am not sure I'd be recommending it to people that just want things to "work" or aren't willing to deal with the China ROM nuances.

      • Agree with everything you’ve said.
Good shout on Nova Launcher! Just remembered I still own Prime from back in the day.

I don’t think I could recommend it to anyone I know to be honest.

But the device hardware is excellent for the price and like you it will hopefully serve me well.

I’m having problems with Prime Video playing above 720p and Disney+ login

Basically every app I have tried has some minor to major annoyance lol

      • I also heard that the Android 15 update causes lots of problems so I am holding off updating until they fix that.

I have the Lenovo on Android 15, what problems?

        • You have the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025?

Apparently, some apps are auto switching to Chinese versions, some menu items are now in Chinese characters, some lag when typing, Netflix dropping from L1 to L3, launcher issues (like swiping up from Nova you can't see apps, just wallpaper) and many more across google/reddit.

          • @sinners007: I have the nova issues, Zux takes over and blank wallpaper, I’ve figured out you can swipe up slowly to get nova back.

I’ll try some ADB debloat later

          • @sinners007:

You have the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025?

The Lenovo Idea Pad Pro, as you said was the alternative. Failed to understand you meant Android 15 on Xiaoxin. Fwiw I actually like the matte screen of the Lenovo.

            • @CVonC: I'm glad you like it. I've compared them side by side. Matte isn't for me.

It sounds like the Chinese Android 15 is balls. I'll wait for the next update.

    • Those are fair points. If you don't have time to tinker around, these devices aren't worth it.

The suggestion is to flash a Global ROM if you want to avoid all Chinese:
      https://old.reddit.com/r/androidtablets/comments/1jiueal/glo…

I haven't done it myself, but from what I've read, upon changing to Global ROM you lose automatic OTA updates (needs to be done manually), but other advantages besides no Chinese are: multi user profiles, a factory reset can still restore app data from Google, and Smart Rotation can be turned off (so you can force rotate with another app).

I've also read that the Lenovo tablets in general don't tend to play well with Wifi 5ghz, so if you're having issues, a forum post suggested logging into your router and in the WLAN Global Configuration changing the 5ghz to channel 36.

So I ordered a tablet from this store - a very similar model to this post - but it has turned up with no google account access, most apps in Chinese, and no google play store. I'm not sure why this tablet is so popular on Ozbargain. What am I missing here?

    • +4

You should refer to the instructions here for how to turn on google services. You can also google it or check YouTube.
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/911811

Then, once you have access to the Google Play store, download the google keyboard and chrome (or your preferred browser) & delete all the Chinese apps. Add a launcher and you should be good to go.

Why is it so good? Well, for $250, once you do the above, you get a pretty nice 12.7-inch 2.9K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a fast processor and really nice speakers. You would need to drop $1,200+ to get an iPad or Galaxy tab with a similar screen/specs.

The local version of this Lenovo tablet (Idea Tab Pro) skips the Asian annoyances but costs $700 (often $500 on sale).

This is the sacrifice for getting a very cheap, quality tablet.

    • +1

Adding upon to sinners007 comment, I would suggest Firefox (and get UBlock origin extension) or Brave, to avoid all ads whilst browsing. I would also suggest Revanced if you don't have Yt Premium, but you would need to be comfortable with installing app packages (apks) that aren't from the Play store.

There's also the option to flash the Global ROM instead of the CN ROM, so there is absolutely no Chinese at all, and thus this device basically becomes the local version (the Idea Tab Pro).

      Guide: https://old.reddit.com/r/androidtablets/comments/1jiueal/glo…

However upon changing to Global ROM, you will lose automatic OTA updates (updates need to be done manually), but other advantages besides no Chinese text/apps natively are: multi user profiles, factory resetting the device will still let you restore app data from Google, and also Smart Rotation can be turned off (so you can force rotate).

This device is so cheap for its specs which is why it is bargain, but it is not plug and play. You need to spend some time setting it up and dealing with the occasional quirks. There is also no local warranty/support too. Despite not really needing it, I couldn't resist it at this price point, but only time will tell if it lasts or I get satisfactory use out of it.
I may just end up buying a keyboard attachment and gifting it to the parents as a laptop/media device given their minimal needs.

  • Has anyone received their tablet yet? Just looking for feedback on if the store is legit or not.

I missed the boat on this before, but the price is close at the moment. I'm hoping with the discount codes Clear listed on this post, that it'll bring it back to the same or cheaper tomorrow.

    • I bought mine from Goldway AliExpress. I have bought lots from them in the past. Top tier AE seller.
