    shipping to vic $14.95 kill the deals as only limit 1 per customer

    • +3

      Some items have free shipping, the best being (IMHO) the Fiio E1 (typically sells for $20-30).

    • exactly. seems to be the same for 2 or more items though

      • Warcom will manually cancel your order if you have more than one $2 special. It looks like you beat the system at first, but you will be disappointed.

    • The one I was waiting for (notebook cooler) has $16.95 shipping which is a bit steep for an impulse purchase.. Still if someone has been looking for a certain something then $2 + postage might not be such a bad grab!

      160 sold so far.

    What a load of bollox. $2 per product plus I got between $5.95 and $7.95 shipping PER PRODUCT??? Shipping in title?

    I used to like Warcom a lot, they sell some bloody good gear and know what they are talking about (eg: ADSL line filters) but this is just bullshit. They should either do capped shipping (I know it doesn't cost them that much per item) or just advertise the real price and don't hide it in their bullshit shipping and handling rates.

    Much respect lost. No Pos vote from me, but no Neg because I can't confirm whether there are any good deals hidden under there. Maybe they are selling the bottle openers cheaper than normal, but who the hell would pay shipping on that?

    PS: would anyone ever pay more than $2 for Cyberlink - isn't this just the same trashware you get with new pre-built PCs? Maybe it does more…

    • +1

      $2 shipped for the Fiio E1 is a deal, in my books.

    • There's products on there for $15, that we're selling for $2.00 That's a deal.

      Just let us know which deals have crazy shipping and we'll fix them.

      This isn't intentional.

        <off-thread self-righteousness>Yeah, as I said there are probably some deals there (so no neg) but surely its bullshit to call it $2 when you have a one item cap and $6 per item shipping? Fair enough a $15 item selling for $8 delivered is a deal, but bullshit you are selling a $15 item for $2. Like I said, no neg because eg the Fiio is a deal (apparently) but a shopper should be able to see recockulous shipping charge as they browse. I remember back in the day loading up my cart to buy stuff off you guys (expecting some reasonable shipping fee at the end) and getting the shits to see such a massive shipping fee at the end because of the per-item calculation - we all know that the cost of posting 4 small items is not four times the cost of posting one small item. As I said, much respect for the store, the staff and the product - but no respect for the bullshit shipping charges. Understand you dudes need to make some money, but shift the balance so you aren't hiding such a large charge in the shipping. This comment is not just about your $2 deals, it shat me a few times in the past when I was buying stuff full price as well). Ended up emptying my cart.</off-thread self-righteousness>

  • Is it limit of 1 of each item? or only 1 item per person?

    • One item, per person.

      So that means, if you are a singular person, you can have one item.

      But, if you have three children, and two cats.

      You may all order items separately and there fore end up with 5 products.

      nb: We do not deliver to cat scratching poles though, or trees.

  • "No pickup on these orders."

    pfft :(

    im just around the corner, would have been awesome if we could pick up!

    • What did you want to order?

    no thanks….

    • … except that you can't order 2 of the globes.
      Is the limit 1 of each item per person, or 1 item per order?
      I also notice that you can put in a large qty of any item even if they only have 2 in stock (for example), so presumably the order qty doesn't check stock levels.

      • We can fix :)

        Just let us know.

      • is the quantity (2) supposed to be restricted on the cart?

        because that's what I copy pasted from their website.

        my comment still stays though, shipping isn't going to make this a deal.

        anyway, i'm done. got the stuff i listed from ebay instead.

        ta.

      It's one item, per customer.

      Please read the email, or the website notice, or the notes on the products.

      • +2

        there was no mention of 1 per customer on the items.

      • +1

        it's not on the products.

  • Wow - that mini keyboard looks really hard to type on!

    And the $2 headphone @ $3.24 doesn't look such a bargain….

    • +1

      What a rip off! Let's fix that.

      Regards
      Adam.

  • I have placed my order

  • WTF? I had two products in my basket. Checkout had postage at $14.95. Then I read that I could only order one, so I removed one and the postage went UP to $16.95.

    Fuhgedaboutit.

    • I had 2 items but only wanted one (which had free shipping) however when i deleted the second item the shipping price remained.
      If you empty your cart and start again it fixes the problem

  • +1

    There was no mention of 1 per order on the items or website.

    Warcom just cancelled my order.

    Not happy!

    • -1

      Really, did you not read the top of the $2 deal page?

    • It was listed in the newsletter, in the page itself, in here too.

      :)

      • should put the font colour in red not the same as the other font colour.

  • Its still not clear to me - can you order several items (as long as it is only 1 of each of your chosen items)?

      We'll get him to fix it.

      Craig.

    • +1

      $2 for a small bag of lollies seemed expensive to me, i'm sure a big bag doesn't cost much more at the supermarket

      • +1

        dont forget its free shipping + $14.95 postage for the lollies

  • Is the mystery gift sourced from the other stuff on the page? Or is it other associated junk? :P

    • I wondered that too

      I think it might be Cyberlink DVD Suite (Pioneer) or Nero

  • +1

    the notebook cooler's delivery fee is $15 :( a tad expensive you don't think?

    • I think the $2 sale for it has ended and it hasn't been removed from the $2 page yet.

      If you look at the top of the page it says
      View More Products From | Keyboards & Mice » Mice » Rapoo »

      Whereas the $2 items say
      View More Products From | $2 Tuesday »

  • Can we have this removed?

  • Cyberlink DVD Suite (Pioneer)

    Is this Cyberlink PowerDVD 13 Ultra? Considering you say RRP $99, I would assume so, but just want to be sure.

  • To comply with Warcom 1 item per customer, I ordered and it got cancelled:
    Ordered Items:

    Product = Sansai Power Board - 6 Way Powerboard with Master Switch
    Quantity = 1

    Product = Thermaltake Massive 14X Notebook Cooler ( Fits Up to 15')
    Quantity = 1

    Product = SPECIAL PRICE - Warcom Official T-Shirt (Size: Small)
    Quantity = 1

    Product = Rock Gaming Mouse Pad Large Soft Surface 295 x 400mm
    Quantity = 1

    Product = Eversure 2 Port Universal USB Car Charger
    Quantity = 1

    Delivery = 14.95 AUD

    Total = 24.95 AUD

    • You ordered 5 items which is more than 1

      • ohh thought it was 1 per item.

        Warcom really need to clarify this as well as put a limit in the cart!

  • I cant seem to order the notebook cooler

  • How does Warcom justify inflated shipping charges?

  • I can't order anything but the mystery item as I can't put anything in my cart. Fix?

    • Items become available throughout the day staring from 2PM so it may come up later or it may have already been up for sale

      • Ah ok. Was trying to order the Tenda N3 Wireless N150 Home Router. Guess I'll wait then.

    • same and they had add to cart for other items previously.

  • Well I got a mystery gift, hopefully its not completely useless, a LED lightbulb would be super nice :)

    • +2

      Order Number mate?

      Hansel

    • LOL, why didnt you just order the globe then!?

      • Cause they weren't available when I found this deal, I'm guessing were sold earlier

        • +1

          and not free shipping either were they? I'm just hoping don't get cyberlink or nero as my mystery gift.. but with 4000 and 1900 in stock, not liking the odds. They weren't listed when I ordered the mystery though..

  • http://www.warcom.com.au/products/48785_tenda_n3_wireless_n1…

    this router looks good

    when can i order it?

  • Didn't really need anything, but got a mystery gift to throw some support.. shipped already, just hope its not totally useless.
