    I checked the price to Tokyo/Osaka but there is no single $299 flight available. Are they all sold out before they start this sale???

    although flights to NZ are cheap - around $200 return with taxes (this is the 20Kg luggage option) eg

    Cheapest flights to NZ I've seen from Jetstar since their 4th Birthday sale. Shame its not during the skii season :(

    There are some Melbourne to Tokyo/Osaka flights from $250 one-way +taxes with this sale as well! so plenty of cheap seats that aren't listed/promoted on that list.

    FYI I looked at the Jetstar page and ended up booking a Domestic ticket SYD-CNS.
    While it wasn't the sale price mentioned ($79 v. $69 mentioned), it was a good deal compared with the Qantas domestic sale and VirginBlue.

    Probably VirginBlue will NOW offer sub $69 fares… you know the feeling… ;)

    NZ prices are incredible! The last time I went there was when JetStar were having the take a friend for $1 sale and I paid aroud $250.
