Nikon Coolpix S9100 Digital Camera $59.25 @ DSE

40

Found this on clearance at DSE Chatswood. Not sure if it's Aus wide. Maybe able to price match with other stores.

A bit of an old model but still a great camera. That 18X zoom on a P&S is insane!

Cheaper and better than the Canon Ixus 500 HS IMO.

    I might wait until they're $4.83 at Target…

  • this should technically be a dupe as this thread covers all the Camera Clearances at DSE and there are heaps, we are better off having it in the one place…, either way its ur call dear MODs.

  • If you don't mind the display item, usually you can get some cameras at huge discount from DSE. Almost all DSE shops clearance their display camera at less than half price randomly.

    • but many are missing the battery and charger so if you buy yourself it is not a bargain

  • Cheaper and better than the Canon Ixus 500 HS IMO…

    Yes and better Link

  • Is this the display model? Can't find any information on Dicksmith web site!

    • It would literally be available in only a few stores nationwide (if that - and more than likely display stock). My store cleared out this model ages ago.

      • Yeah the pic in this thread shows a display stock camera. The deal was probably only for that one remaining display camera any way.

  • there is still one ricoh 16mp waterproof and canon 12mp cameras 39.83 each at Liverpool Target, i've been watching them for couple of days now, but i bought samsung mv800 for 49.83

  • Was $79 down to $59.25 wow what a hugh clearance discount, not.

On the other hand i just recently bought a new Fuji Finepix JX550 16MP camera from Harvey Norman for $48.95 delivered. That was a better deal i think.

    • $79 was previous clearance price. I paid over $350 on release.

  • I've been meaning to post my latest dse bargain but haven't got around to it.

Nikon d5100 slr, dual lens pack.. $520 or thereabouts.

On clearance and store was taking an extra 25% off, Newcastle West.

    Happy snapping novacastrians.

    Edit- posted it anyway,

  • Ya, I got a Nikon S3100 for $19 from DSE Waurn Ponds but its was also a Demo Model, last one and purple. On the plus side it was locked in a glass case and came with all its bits. Does anyone one still use stand alone cameras anyway?

    • Sure, they have features important to me that phone cameras don't.

    • With us it's either the phones camera or a big ass slr, no middle man. Maybe good for the kiddies and nana.

      • +1

I like prosumer superzooms. Much lighter than SLRs, important when travelling and you don't want to carry 1/2 your luggage allowance in camera gear, but can get close ups and take high quality pix.

        • Valid point, I was more thinking about the bog standard crappy zoom models.
