  • I didn't think they had free pickup?!

That is a bargain in itself!

  • Apart from the touch screen, how would you compare to the toshiba u940/00s which was selling for $698 last week with discrete graphic (NV 630GT)?

  • i love how the description said perfect for PROFRESSIONAL

  • +1

No love for this laptop? I've been monitoring prices and the cheapest I've seen for an intel i5 14 inch ultrabook with touch was the Asus S400 one day sale at Dicksmith couple of months ago for $700. I think this is a pretty good deal. If anyone could chime in, that would be great.

  • What a steal! I bought this one at Harvey Norman 2.5 months ago for $1080! This is a fine ultrabook, although in the summer the heat at the left is a bit annoying, but overall I satisfy with this choice.

  • Someone on the HN sleekbook post mentioned that they got 250 off for trade in, anyone know anything about that?

    • I bought on of these today. Was stickered $715 in my store.

TRADE-IN PROMOTION ENDS THIS SUNDAY 5/5, so move quick if you have an old clunker to send in. Otherwise there's heaps of stock in all the stores in WA so it's not a hotcake model.

http://www.tradeup4cash.com/ - I had my claim approved within two hours. Sending in a 2008 Dell behemoth.

I had $446 worth of Harvey norman gift vouchers from buying kitchen appliances last year, so if the cash comes through after I send my five year old laptop, the upgrade will cost me less than $20.

  • Picked one up from HN Auburn, the place was a mess, they were moving their displays around, weird they chose thursday night to do it, after 15 mnutes trying to get a sales rep to help me, i grabbed one

admitadly nothing was priced as per the website, they had this one listed as $1399, he was shocked when he checked what it scanned up as.

then i said i also wanted 17months interest free with no repayments again an advertised promotion,

HP throw in FREE 12 Months of Smart Care Service Plan (Accidental and Liquid Damage Protection)

All up for $715, its pretty cheap and i have 18 months before i have to pay a cent for it.

the $250 cash back is part of their trade up and save
