Grand Theft Auto V PS3 Preorder $56.36 + Buy 1 Game Get 15% off (2 Games 20% off)

I just had to buy GTAV after watching the new trailer released the other day, and after going through several games comparisons sites, found Video Ezy to be the cheapest according to OnTheGame (and others that didn't list Video Ezy). Actually half-decent value for an Aussie store for a change. Closest I've found to that is £39.98 ($60.77) from Zaavi, excluding shipping.

Edit Oh yeah, the discount is applied at checkout, just so you're aware!

Here's proof of purchase if you guys want it.

Also be aware that if you buy something $60 or over, it's free shipping, otherwise it looks like it's $2.00 Australia-wide.

Let's play bowling, Niko.

It's an Australian website but comes from China and the UK. I'm too impatient for GTA5 so will be getting it from a Australian shop

  • Makes sense to write preorder in the title, made me think it was out then.

    • Definitely a good idea, thanks!

  • Local price $99… Wow, just wow.

But hey, it comes with a poster…!

Personal rule: Anything not limited/collector's edition should not go beyond 90 bucks.

      • It's GTA V, people will buy it for that price. Mostly noobs.

        • Just like how some moms paid $109 for a copy of COD at EB Games.

      • Only reason I'm ordering gta v with EB is for a potential CE, if there is none, hello OGS..

  • What's the likelihood of it being cheaper than this before release(which is in Sept right?)?

    • WOWHD had this for about $51 a couple of days ago, thanks to that 20% off thing.

I hesitated though since I never ordered there before.

You'll see CD key sites selling it from Russia or India for around the $40 mark at launch and quickly drop to $30 after (in my opinion).

The download may be in excess of 25GB (possibly 30+), so if you're on very limited usage you may want to consider this.

Looks like someone from the master race doesn't know there is no PC version of this game at launch…

  • Showing as 63.95 for me.

  • This game has only been delayed by a year. Shame, cuz the wait is killing

  • I wonder if they'll be releasing a collectors edition :D

In my experience, VideoEzy take 3-4 weeks to deliver games. When I pre-ordered SimCity with them they failed to get enough stock to meet the numbers they had sold and so many (myself included) were placed on backorder without being contacted to inform me this was the case.

If you can't wait that long, buy locally. Big W/Kmart will more than likely have the game for ~$70

  • This is also my experience. I waited about 3-4 weeks for Far Cry 3 to arrive from these guys when it came out. I didn't mind because it was so cheap, but I will be buying GTA V on release day, from whoever is cheapest locally.

  • I usually look for the best price online for games and then wait to have them delivered but with GTA V I want to play it on release day when I get home so I'll keep an eye out for the cheapest local Perth store with stock.
