    I've given up on Kaspersky, I was having so many problems I may as well have had no IS.
    Out of interest I even tried a Kaspersky Pure trial and had the same issues.
    Buy if you don't value your security…
    Now running F-Secure which is by far a superior program and far more ethical (they don't offer governments etc a back door into your PC).
    The failures of Kaspersky are why you are seeing so many cheap deals on it.

    EDIT: I was also rather embarrassed after recommending Kaspersky previously to family members who then experienced issues as well, Kaspersky was definetly good one upon a time.

    Been using kaspersky since version 1.07?

    Lately the activation has been region based so if this item is not from genuine australian kaspersky office, there is a big chance it cannot be activated in australia.

    So if you buy kaspersky from say ebay canada for $5 it can only be activated in north america etc.

    The kaspersky product does not like any leftovers of any previous other make of anti virus, luckily, so if your pc has any leftovers there may be problems/big problems.

    So is this item a genuine kaspersky com au/ kasperskyanz supplied product?

    IMO Kaspersky is malware, you need to download a program to uninstall it. Was so annoying to change my friend's computer to MSE.

    Isn't OEM version to be sold with new Hardware only and vendors cannot sell it separately as a individual product?
