  • Can you install just the antivirus? Really dont want the firewall.

    • turn it off then…

  • I'd rather save $0.01 and use MSE

  • Where to enter coupon code?

    • i can't see where to enter it either

  • Hope they're better than the club they sponsor in Melbourne Demons.

  • Can the code/software link be emailed out as opposed to posted? :/

  • +1

$21.23 shipping to Sydney or have to collect from their shop in Brisbane.

    • +4

Yeah if it can't be emailed they've lost a potential customer. Sure it's a cent but if the shipping's a rort especially just to send a DVD then I'm out.

  • +1

$22.59 shipping to Mebourne. no deal

    • exactly no deal for OEM version at this price

  • +3

psst… rep. do you know.. it's just a $0.60 stamp to mail out a cut out of the registration key? Most of us don't care of the mug coaster or the piece of cardboard we fold and use to stablise the washing machine.

might be cheaper to scan and email out the keys too…

you know, it's year 2013, and we are still sending boxed softwares… while the rest of the world are downloading gigs of games (steam), music (amazon/itunes), and maybe paid porn! (gasp!)

might even save you the money on stamps and envelopes too.

(send me 3 free copies of the KIS as a consultation fee.. thanks)

  • Just my 2 cents about my Kaspersky experience, bought 2 yr license for 3 computers for $89 after reading some silly reviews, thinking paying is better than my free AVAST…. not so unfortunately.
Freaking Kaspersky crashed my computer and after 1 week attempt, waiting sometimes nearly 30 minutes or more just to get to speak to anyone at a time and after many hours….. I gave up eventually after no help from them and had to reformat my hard drive! If I could rate their technical support it would be -10, they closed the case sending you an email patting themselves saying case is solved when it was never done and I would'nt waste anymore time arguing than I already did!
My other computer uses Avast free for last 5 years and NEVER had any issues.
For the record, I do not work for any anti-virus software team or related to any of them in anyway.
No thanks OP, I wouldn't use this even if you pay me.

    • +2

erm… hardly computer crashes is a reason for what you did.. (i am going to say 90% of computer crashes is due to user problem.)

but yeah. OP isn't a direct kaspersky rep anyway.. so meh.

for the record, i use both avast and kis for as long as anyone was aware antivirus products existed.

i liken it to a condom, sometimes you can get away with NO protection… but you'd wish you know your doctor's direct contact number when you got sick.

avast is not bad, but it's not that fly either.

    • I have had Kaspersky on 3 machines at home for about 5 years now through multiple machine upgrades and never had a problem. Much better than the Norton it replaced and haven’t looked back.

  • Norton 360 ftw. maximum pc magazine gave it a 10/10 (a rare occurrence)

  • postage kills this

  • +1

shipping is ridiculous - send me the code by email and i would be in, otherwise plenty of places I can buy it MUCH cheaper

  • Kaspersky deleted my ActionScript source code 7 years ago…
I will never use Kaspersky again.

  • Same, nowhere to enter the voucher and $22 shipping for a CD is a scam. Payment only by card, no Paypal, you really want to leave your credit card details on this website???

  • Shhhhhhhh, it is the shipping that they are making profit from, hence, the advertised price of $.01 and NO PICK UP.

  • </3 will never shop here now

  • he forgot to mention about the postage amount

  • Just got my key off ebay for $13 so either way I'm happy :)
Its a 1 user OEM key for internet security 2013.

    • link please?

      • +1

Seems the $13 one I purchased you need to buy a pc from them. They were happy to send me the code.

I did find this one for $16. But its the disc posted:
        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271152332437
Could probably message them to email the code first :p

        • thanks!

  • Agree with the posters.
    Postage is crazy.
Nowhere to enter the discount license code.

Either the rep is a newbie, or this is dodgy.

  • Looks like there's only 4 left.

I'll pass on this as i just bought Avira Internet Security 2013 for $20 yesterday. Thought about Kaspersky for a while but i reckon Avira is better.

  • Get the latest detection test results march 2013 here:

    http://www.av-comparatives.org/comparativesreviews/detection…

    Get the march PDF

Check your antivirus detection rates in this test.

The big problem when changing anti virus programs is that any leftovers from the previous can cause problems which can be very difficult to track down.

All remnants of the previous really must be removed including registry entries etc.

Some computers have "pre existing ailments" that only show up and or cause problems after installation of the new AV.

The postage costs mentioned above actually cover the buy cost of oem if you shop around.

  • Postage is a joke, total price is a disgraceful and nowhere to put the code. Good riddance.

  • I was wondering how come I couldn't see this on the front page after seeing this deal on twitter, no wonder…..

I think people will probably respond more positively if it was advertised as "Kaspersky for $25"

    No thanks
