Wouldn't wooden mice be very slow and easy to catch? :)

    • That's why they're only 8 cents for 2!

      • Oh you're just taking the Mickey.

  • These will make a nice mess.. if your the squirmish type get the plastic type instead.

If your squirmish, get the electric one from Masters. I bought one of these and when a mouse goes in they get electrocuted - no mess. Just runs off AA batteries. Caught 3 mice so far.

Stupid info from the Masters website……

Recommended Use: To capture mouse live

Overview: Powerful system delivers high voltage shock to kill rodent in seconds.
      Fast. Effective 100% kill rate.

I can confirm the Overview info is correct.

      • Aren't the following two statements conflicting each other?

        1. To capture mouse "live"
        2. voltage shock to "kill" rodent
        • Yep. That would explain my "Stupid info from Masters" comment.

I can just imagine a hippy buying this trap to catch and release a live mouse, only to find the trap electrocutes and kills all that enters.

        • Win-win for all in that case!

I've used the plastic ones and they're pretty good and leave no mess. The mouse remains "intact" but dead for sure.

      • How much is this electric mouse trap?

        • $34 (as per link)

Being an OzBargainer it was more than I would usually pay, but after destroying two $2 mouse traps and one $6 mouse trap on first use, I finally decided to give it a try.

Been awesome. Also, I have kids so no need to stress about little fingers getting caught in a trap.

FYI, I put some peanut butter on the lid at the end of the tunnel. Mouse dead before they reach it. A green LED flashes when a mouse is killed.

Apparently 4 AA batteries should kill 100 mice.

This is the one sold at Masters.

I believe Mitre 10 also sell something similar.

  • be careful pulling them off the shelf

  • "Zero Tolerance On Mice"

Marketing was working overtime on that gem ;).

  • Must be no mice if Glebe anymore. Times have changed since the 90s when I lived there.

  • $0.06 at BNE CBD store. ~10pcs as of last week. Post your cheap flight links below.
