    Midi DVD Player

Can it also play normal DVD's ?

    • +1

Nope. No Dolby Digital, no DTS - just MIDI.

Why not buy a blu ray player at the same
    Price?

  • There's a less ugly looking Sony Bluray player that is nice and small too, picked it up for $80 at Myer.

    does it support MIDI files?

  • This was $39 for a few weeks now.

Got one for $10 or $15 last time when we had that massive free voucher no mininum spend at grays or some similar site. Good budget dvd player, very slow at response when turning on/off and ejecting a disc. But does the job.

  • Pretty cheap for a sony maybe but as far as I'm concerned any old dvd player will do the job. Hell even my super budget DSE 32" TV will play dvds if I connect an external usb DVD drive on it

Be warned - this DVD player only has composite output, no component or S-video. My 1997 DVD player even had component output. I am negative voting this deal.

    • Lol that's just silly. I would assume an HDMI port at least. I like how on Amazon it's frequently bought with an HDMI cable…

Did your 1997 DVD player cost $37. If your still buying DVD picture quality is not the thing your looking for.

      • Um, excuse me? DVD offers the same picture quality (576i) as Channel 7, 9, and 10 are currently broadcasting. Are you telling me you never watch free to air TV? Yet, if you have a digital TV, you're watching FTA in crystal clear quality, whereas with composite the image will look like rubbish.

  • i remembered those days…
