What are people's thoughts on the sony 32 gig sdhc for $46 versus the sandisk 32 gig sdhc for $35?.
Usage is for basic dslr (nikon 5100). Would probably do a bit of video on it too.

    The Sony speed is rated faster than the Sandisk Extreme Pro Compact flash which is rated at 90MB/s. Is this the true speed in real world applications?

      They are 2 different cards.
      The one we have on promo is an SDHC card, where as the SanDisk card you mentioned is a Compact Flash.

  I was looking at YouTube comparison videos between the Sony and the Sandisk Extreme Pro a couple of months ago, there was nothing in it, so the Sony will trump the standard Sandisk all day every day.
  Exactly the reason I was waiting on a local supplier to offer them at a good price instead of only eBay; or the crazy price from a Sony store.

I am very interested in purchasing the SamSung 64GB micro SD card for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7inch.

I have been looking on the net to see what is the maximum card size for that device and it differs between 32gb and 64gb.

If I purchase the 64gb and the Tab2 cannot read the card would I be able to exchange it for the 32gb version?

  I understand that on Samsung website, the max capacity is 32GB, however I do have customer's reporting back with the 64GB working alrigh in their tab.
  It will be your option on the 32GB / 64GB card, but on our end, we cannot take it back for an exchange.

  I personally not recommend Sandisk Extreme 64GB usb3.
  Yes, it is fast but it is bulky. Also I have already returned to Sandisk for RMA twice. The first time was the memory chips broken (cannot detect at all) and the second time was physically the slide-button broken….so disappoint with their USB memory stick nowadays. :(
