Thanks OP worked perfectly, now lets just hope the Plants vs Zombies 2 is a universal version with iCloud built in to save your progress between devices.

PVZ2 will be free to play with ea IAP bs

      Damn it - you're right! I was hoping you're wrong. :(

Free to download, Plants vs. Zombies 2 will expand and extend the classic gameplay of the original and provide players with dozens of all-new levels, plants and zombies across multiple worlds at no cost. While the vast majority of the game will be entirely free to play (players can face every zombie and access every level in every world at no cost), Plants vs. Zombies 2 players will also be able to purchase upgrades and other in-game items.

At least it won't be like Real Racing 2 where you have to buy IAP if you want to be able to complete the game; in fact, it sounds a lot like the current version since it too has IAP, except that it will always be freeā€¦

  • Solid deal :) thanks

  • I absolutely love 'tower defense' style games. I bought this ages ago. Of all the games I've ever played, I've replayed this the most. Great value even at full price, but at free it is well worth a try!

TD for noobs, for those well seasoned from wc3 days, this will be a cakewalk (or a borefest)

I love TD games and am as you say, well seasoned, and I still loved PVZ

  • Thanks!

    Not work outside australia…

    • +1

Well, that doesn't really matter much because this is OZbargain, which is for Australian bargains.

And by the way, did you realise that you are a Sydney resident, and that is within Australia?

Thanks, I asked my friend to get a redeem code for me. I am temporarily outside AU now…

  • nice, owned the ipad version already, but now i own both :D

  • Note - the redeem page says "Code Expiration: 20/7/2013 Plants Vs. Zombies HD This is a promotional code and is not for resale, has no cash value, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Valid only on Canadian iTunes Store"

But just follow the instructions which state:

    How to Redeem Your Code
1.Click the promotion code and your free app should download automatically.
2.Having trouble? You can copy and paste the code into the Redeem page on the App Store. Click here for more tips on redeeming codes.

Just grabbed the iPad version on a iTunes AU Account.I already had PvZ for iPhone from a previous deal, but it alowed me to download it again with the new code (a bit strange).

If you don't want to use iTunes on your PC or Mac, then first get the code from the webpage. On iOS 5 and iOS 6 you redeem by:

Go to App Store in your iDevice and Choose "Featured" from the bottom menu. Then scroll to the very bottom of that page. There is a button that says REDEEM…. tap that.

  • "This code has already been redeemed". Perhaps it's been exhausted?

That's odd. Just tried and it went fine.

That is probably your ISP caching the session / webpage.

Open again and see if same code comes up - if so, do a "Forced Refresh" of your browser (usually CTRL+Refresh or SHIFT+Refresh) to get a brand new uncached copy from the web server.

when the hell is this going to be free for android

    • +1

I've seen it on sale for a dollar and it was also in a humble bundle before.

    • When the Android sales for this game are profitable enough to warrant doing it - don't hold your breath.

    Never mind. got it working
