    Looks pretty good, waiting to hear what other people think of it.

    The closest thing to a review I could find is here, for the Toshiba L840/02P. Slightly different model but pretty similar specs and identical looks.

    Don't buy refurbished products. It won't last long, unless you expect to resell it before the warranty ends.

        This is Manufacture's refurbished product, they are in good conditions.

        They already broke once - more chance of getting a lemon that will break again. Price isn't cheap enough for a second hand product, got any new ones?

      2. They do not come with a Media Disc, the recovery is preinstalled into a hidden partition which also provides you with option to create your own recovery media ( DVD up to 4 Disc, or USB Stick with minimum 16GB Storage ). It's only windows 8 preinstalled on this model.

    Hi Rep, Could you please define "Refurbished" in the context of the Toshiba laptop you are selling?
    For example, are these items that been returned for repair, or are these factory "seconds" that have not been previously sold, or something else perhaps?

      yes REP, please explain what refurb means for this laptop. have purchased refurb ipads before and totally satisfied, so looking for same level of satisfaction. what was fault, what has been replaced etc.
      would add extra warranty.

      The name "refurbished" is typically, they're products returned to the manufacturer by customers, for any number of reasons, and then tested at the factory to make sure they're in tip-top shape.

      Defective or damaged parts will be replaced.

      Apple, Netgear, HP, in fact all of the top manufacturers all refurbish items and then resell them but for much cheaper!

      Also, all refurbished items that Retailers sell come with warranty.

      An item being classed as "refurbished" does not mean it's second hand or used!

      Refurbished products can originate from a variety of sources, including:

      Customer returns and cancelled orders – Fully-functional products that leave the manufacturers warehouse and therefore can no longer be sold as new.

      Items where the box or casing was damaged in shipment which are returned to the manufacturer.

      The item was returned to the manufacturer because of a slight defect.

      The part that was defective was replaced by the manufacturer, tested and then repackaged just like new.
      Demonstration and trial equipment – Products have been provided to customers for demonstration purposes. etc

    You replied to my earlier post stating "Is there any particular specifications you are after apart from the colour? Please let us know.", but long weekend offer is for OP brand/model only.

    I would be only be interested in a variable product under similar discount arrangement. This seems a decent deal indeed, but I would be even more excited with a 15.6", 16gb ram, 1080 res. (not to mention SSD).

    Please advise if I could raise an enquiry via sales email and take it from there.

          I know it was showing stock mid afternoon after having shown no stock yesterday and this morning - I guess they may have run out but I'd suggest the easiest way to get a clear answer on the current stock situation would be to ring them in the morning. This is an actual "bricks and mortar" shop
