Arnott's Tim Tam $1.49 at IGA (VIC)

110

$1.49 per Tim Tam pack. These normally fluctuate between $1.70 - $3.15 per pack at Coles / IGA / Woolworths.

Coles price is $2.00 in VIC stores, and Woolworths $3.15 (Woolworths regular and online price is $3.39)

The high Woolworths price may suggest that they will have a special next week on them, based on the assumption of High-Low supermarket pricing.

Either way $1.49 is a bargain for these. IGA seem to have this special every 3-6 months, have never seen Coles or WOW go this low.

Unfortunately, only $1.79 at Supa IGA in this week's North Sydney catalogue.

    I'll be watching this closely.

Have been teaching that in Japan - they just laugh as the chocolate melts & the TimTam disappears.
Was with a group of locals in FNQld last month & topic of weirdest or best thing sucked throug a TimYam came up…. some strange experiences.

Woolies was on sale $2 LAST WEEK.

    • I saw them at Woolworths last week (VIC metro) for $3.15 ea, they must fluctuate between stores/ areas.

      • That was the Woolies catalog cycle - last week meaning before Wednesday last week, at least in QLD.

  • Here: free. eve·ry·day. to those who've access in their State.

    • Substitutes don't count in my book. Its not just the texture, taste, smell, but the whole packaging & marketing experiences.

    • Do they have double coat or caramel varieties?

    • Couldn't say much of marketing but their packet sure looks spookily similar, don't it..
Substitutes.economic often factor in my book so I just displace (Chocolate) TTs with these equally competent wafers. Caramel appeals to me too.
