    After watching Airways and hearing some stories about Tiger I am still very reluctant to travel with Tiger even though I always get to an airport early and making sure my luggage is within limitations. I guess that I will have to fly with them sooner of later to try them out !

      Tiger do cancel flights.. Our last flight Sydney -> Gold Coast was cancelled AFTER we checked in… massive fail. Was the last flight of the night. Long story short the refund policy is fare in full or put on the next available flight (next morning in this case) + $120 per person to go towards accomodation only. $120 refunded weeks later after sending an application to them with a hotel invoice. Worked out ok for us since we booked a 5 star hotel across the road from airport for $230 incl. a $20 room service voucher. One of the best rib on the bone i've ever had :D

      But to sum up don't book them if you need reliability.

      I guess it's a luck thing… Flown with them and had a very nice experience. Arrived on time for check in, they've upgraded our seats to the Emergency Exit before.. And the crew were very friendly.

      For the rate, I would expect a basic service where nobody makes eye contact and you do everything yourself - but the Tiger staff were as helpful as they could be/needed to be.

    They could now give me 2 for 0 and I still wouldn't fly with them!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
    Part of our last 3 flights booked with them have been cancelled with next to no warning.
    They charge extra to have a baby sitting on your knee.
    Oh, and refunds will take a minimum of 6 weeks to process!!!

    Awesome deal, but sadly can't get more time off work to go…but for future reference and I know this has been asked before but I am still unclear as to whether Jetstar will pricematch these 2for1s. I guess I could try and ring but can only do so from tomorrow afternoon…If anyone could assist, much appreciated :)

    Luggage rules are a joke, carry on was over by 1kg, so I had to stuff my pockets with 1kg of shit to weigh in under the limit. Went around the corner and put it back into the bag afterwards.

    Make sure take enought water with you, just in case they may delay for hours and no free water for you or your kids.
