NetGear N300 Wireless ADSL2 Modem/Router $88 at Harvey Norman

40

Thunder storm took out my Dlink last night, Harvey Norman is the only store I have conveniently close. Went down, saw the sticker price at $149 I think, pleasantly surprised at checkout when it came up as $88. Should be nationwide in store by the look of it.
Installed and running ok.

Cheaper at MANY other places: http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=DGN2200&spo…

Although, if you're not close to any of these and have to include postage and want it straight away, it's not so much a bad deal.

  • Agree with Porthos, Harvey Norman is hardly normal with their prices!

I had this Modem/Router from Optus and it was one of the worst. Wireless connectivity is not consistent. Would disconnect and connect back again.

    • mine's from optus as well and i get a lot of drop outs. apparently netgear has released a software update to fix the issue, but the update isn't available on optus branded models :(

      • Yes, I called multiple times to Netgear support and they are useless. Optus never were interested to have any update. Upgraded to Billion 7800VDPX and quite happy now.

  • I've had this model for more than a year and it is excellent. Range is very good.
Initially tried a Belkin, but returned it the same day as the range was horrible.

Highly recommend….but at this price is not a bargain…regular price at MSY is $75…

  • I am using it and the connection is terrible! not recommend to anyone
