Deals Direct Highlander 6-Channel Amplifier - $29 + Postage (Almost Sold Out... apparently)

21

Usually $99 so $29 is a good price for a cheapie generic 'utility' Amp. 10W RMS @ 4 Ohm outputs for fronts & rears plus a dedicated 65W 8 Ohm Subwoofer output. Standard analogue inputs allowing you to connect any old thing to it.

Probably wouldn't bother using it for 'Home Theatre' however something like this would be perfect for running a simple 2 or 2.1 channel system. Would be great for running extra speakers out on a Deck/Patio or extra rooms in the house or in the Workshop/Garage.

Postage seems reasonable at $5.50 to Brisbane but not sure how many are really left so good luck!

Yeah, this is a cheapie Amp for sure and I love the way they conveniently leave out the THD specs however I have a home made 10+10W Stereo Amp that would definitely change your mind about quoted power outputs :) I've also heard a 20W 2-channel system that absolutley blew my mind so be careful judging Amplifiers purely on their rated outputs.

      • yes don't judge the look by the lover

  • The only amp i ever seen that ya had to buy ya own batteries for the remote …lol
And i quote>>> 1 x Remote control (batteries not included)

Pretty bad amp but it's perfect for what I need. A little low power amp to power my old small sub.

  • With all the recent deals from Dicks for amp+speakers sets and HTIB, I doubt anyone will want this junk.
Maybe if it had a digital input with dolby and dts. It doesn't.
Better getting an old stereo amp from gumtree etc.

    • Agreed… and I have dozens & dozens of Vintage Stereo Amps sourced from eBay & Gumtree purchased for around this price however many folks wouldn't have the time or know-how to fix the basic issues most older Amps have (fuse & capacitor replacements, pot & switch cleaning) so unfortunately buying new is the only way for most :(

      • I have an old nakamichi AV8 that I want repaired. Interested?

    There can be only one.

      just not this one

      and lol

The Highlander 6 Channel Amplifier is the essential item to create that spectacular home theater system you have always dreamed about.

      no

  • Bought one. I was given a really nice HT amp recently, but it didn't really work. It's got issues. I just want something that can power two average speakers and take sound from the TV to avoid those shitty 4w rear facing tweeters on the back of most new TV's these days. This should fit the bill.

  • I bought this last sale for abit under $30 delivered its still in the box havent got around to using it yet

  • How is it a six channel amp if it only has 2 channel input? Why the heck wouldn't you at least put plugs on the back for all 6 channels on ONE of the inputs, rather than so many 2 channel options?
Borders on deliberately misleading to be frank.
(the neg is to warn people it isnt 6 channel)

    • Oddly enough it has 6 channel input (analogue)

      Connectors are 1 x coax, 2 x AV inputs (RCA x 2), 1 x 6 channel input.

      Has 5 x speaker outs and 1 x sub out, plus 1 x sub pre-out (RCA).

Funny enough the manual says "Plug optical audio cable in to dvd player".

Received mine today. Cheap design and probably won't last but powers my sub fine which is all I want it for. Spent 3 months looking for a stereo amp with more than 60w. Couldn't find any for under $100 on Gumtree or ebay so had to settle for junk.
