    I wouldn't buy any laptop at the moment, Intel has just released their new Haswell cpus which are more powerful and give incredible battery life. I would wait just a few months for the prices to go down a bit on the new systems, then get a laptop which can easily deliver 10 plus hours of battery life

  Thanks OP, i'll probably buy it. Good alternative to macbook air. Pretty much same price (as macbook air 13 education pricing). Although windows 7 (imo) and Full HD display are going for it plus the extra 4gb RAM. Saw mixed reviews on battery life. Anywhere between 6-8 hours with browsing. But no SD card slot, HDMI (got mini display port), no touch screen, or dedicated graphics. But its light, fast, extremely portable, and great workspace. Perfect for uni with a little gaming and photo/video editing.
