        But $968 is still a good price?, you 'may' be able to bargain any product at any retailer. I would see this product being a bargain, saving $20 over JB Hifi? I neg vote for products that are not bargains, but that's just me.

      that's not really the point that is being made. This website, specifically, is for bargains, not people's everyday prices. If one major retailer has the same price as another major retailer, then they are easily able to find out if the price they are posting is a bargain or not.

      Reps that post here need to do their due diligence or get hammered with negs and comments, it's the nature of the beast. Hell, sometimes when they are offering a good deal they still get hammered.

      Reps should be posting bargains in good faith, not just using this as a platform for additional exposure. It's a bad idea anyway. With how the OzB community operates, if a rep posts non-bargains it will actually turn OzBargainers away from them in the long run.

      So, while I take your point (and by the way, we are only just below parity with the USD, the AUD is in no way weak currently) the dissent against posts like this is reasonable because it doesn't run in line with the purpose of the community.

      As a rep here, I might not get it right every time but I work hard to make sure that I get it right as often as I am able.

        Currently sitting at $0.914 which for me personally is weak, although it could get worse.
