  Hmm, from Perth to for example Singapore, the pricing seems average at best.

  Plus you have to leave on a Sunday, meaning you have to take 3-4 days off of work and don't stay for the weekend.

  As an example:

  • This deal: Perth-Singapore return staying at the Novotel Clarke Quay 05/04/2009-09/04/2009 (Sun 12:15am-Thur 11pm), costs $2,037.82 total
  • Flight through adioso: Tiger Airways to Singapore and back, $985.08 including taxes. Hotel through hotelclub.net, $1,100. Costs $2085.08 total.

  So it's about a 2% saving.

  Agreed, it's not much of a deal. It's a bit deceptive as room rental is normally done per room, but the pricing is per person twin share so when you double it up, it's not good - sometimes worse - than just booking the two separately.
