I'd be wary of the jeans, bought a size 8 for the wife, the pair that was delivered was probably a size 14 even though it had size 8 tags.

What does “Irregular” mean besides big savings for you?
Irregulars are genuine Levis Jeans which have either a small flaw or have been labelled incorrectly.
Please select carefully as Change Of Mind Policy for incorrect choice does not apply to this product.

Same thing happened for the ones I bought my mum….I assumed they would have sent the pair that were the correct AU size 8 but labelled incorrectly not the size 14/16 that's labelled 8…..doesn't make sense cos then surely no one would get the correct size!!! Argh!! I think it's actually US size 8….o_O

Incorrect choice or change of mind is not the same as selling goods that don't fit description. I would contact DD to arrange for a refund!

To me, this sounds like counterfeits. Genuine ones that were incorrectly 'tagged' would never get past quality controls.

And that's likely how they've ended up at Deals Direct

It's a different sizing range to us.

Those sizes are NOT AUS. its the same with their shoes. not hard to see that when you check the measurements on the chart under each clothes description ! ignorant people who dont check the description should stop making them selves look stupid by saying their counterfeits or incorrectly tagged.

A USA jeans size 8 would be a UK size 10. However, it has been reported that jeans tagged as size 8 were more like a size 14. (Usually Australia follows UK sizing - although this is changing with 'sports' shoes and other shoes of USA brands). As you state that these jeans are "NOT AUS" (sizes?) - what countries size 'standard' do you suggest is being used?

In the description it actually states "size: AU 8"… Preceded by a comparison size chart. I buy enough clothes from international websites to know the US and UK equivalents. How is anyone meant to know when they state "incorrectly sized" they mean they will send you one that is your "size" but is the wrong measurements! Would have made more sense to list them as the size the measurements correlate to so that when you get the wrongly tagged item, at least it fits!!!

On a different note, I ordered another pair for my mum in the waist sizes and they fit perfectly and she thinks they are amazing! Guess you win some you lose some but definitely worth the gamble @$5 each :)

These are damaged as well as wrong size, they all have what looks like is a knife cut in several places.
There is no levis label on the back where the belt goes, there is only the red tag on the back pocket.

    • I found the same problems with the ones I bought! Also the pockets on mine (size 25 which turned out to be accurate) were halfway down my leg!!

  • Noticed they were also advertising a "Nuovo 43in (109.cm) Plasma TV with HD Tuner" for $299. Dare say it's nothing flash, but $299 for 43in, damn…could do worse for the spare bedroom.

    • Max. Resolution: 1024 × 768pixel.

      • which is more than what they broadcast in nowadays. In fact, they broadcasted in better quality when the analogue system was still on. The compression artefacts on "Go" are about 100px squared.
Sorry, off-topic but I had to vent my frustration somewhere.

        • Hopefully this will be fixed when they finally switch off analog and part out some more bandwidth for TV

        • Analog already off in my area

sounds too suss.. i'm out for this deal.

  • I bought 4 jeans for my wife, 1 would fit correctly all other are big in size, some one stated as above its about the size of 14, what I ordered is 8

  • +1

I bought one & it definitely wasn't a brand new. No tags inside or outside whatsoever.

i am happy to miss this one.

I bought 3 skinny jeans for my wife. 2 correct size and the other one is a fatty jean. I am still waiting for them to arrange for a replacement.

Brought a Size 10 shoe from them and they sent me a 8.5 shoe. Luckily it can still fit.

Other than that, I dont have any problems with all my other orders.

I purchased 4 pairs, two size 27's & two size 26's. Here is a photo comparison to two pairs of Levi's purchased at a Levi's store: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/24/dgbm.jpg/?sa=0

The top two in the photo are the genuine pairs, a size 28 & a size 26, the bottom 4 are from Dealsdirect. I'm having a hard time believing they are genuine. I emailed Dealsdirect & have still not heard back from their support team.

  • Just to add on from others - these are Knock offs / Replicas - they are not authentic Levis jeans.

  • If anyone is from sydney and bought a size 8, turned out to be more to a size 14, ill be happy to take it from you :)

  • The irregular isnt a defect in the jeans like a rip
its the problem with the sizing "none of it is correct" (if your a size 6, look for a size 25-26 US)
even the length from the button to the crotch are all wrong.

  • So are these Levi's jeans and the True Religion/Wranglers shoes genuine or knockoff? Any expert here can confirm?

  • Price is dirt cheap but it seems a few posters are still struck by the brand name. Levi jeans are nowhere near the quality they were decades ago.

  • Hi guys. Also got a wrong size. Can anyone confirm if these are "used"? I see some comments and certainly did not expect it to be used. The one i got does not appear used.

I have bought 6 pairs of Levi's womens jeans from DealsDirect in the past, 4 were good, 2 were bad. The 524's and 552's are fine - you just need to check the US levi's website to find out what the measurements for the US sizes are - that's safer that converting to what DealsDirect say is the AU equivalent. e.g. women's size chart for 524's

I would avoid all the ones that say 'irregular' - the sizes are way off the mark and the quality is very much inferior and look cheap. I had to return those 2 pairs.

  • Hmm so that's what the "irregular" in the title means. Lucky I didn't buy a pair, even though it was $5 I like to try my clothes on first before buying otherwise it just ends up sitting in my wardrobe

    From their website:
"What does “Irregular” mean besides big savings for you?
Irregulars are genuine Levis Jeans which have either a small flaw or have been labelled incorrectly."

Maybe I'm lucky, but each pair of jeans I've ordered from them fits perfectly and are comfortable to wear.
The only issue is (as mentioned above) the denim has small cut/frayed bits on some parts of the jeans.

  • Bought 3 shirts in 1 order and only recieved 1 of them. What does that mean? Do they send out each shirt seperate or something. Makes no sense
