These are actually $3.67 each in AUD =)

    Bought 2 of them @ $3.60AUD each!

same :) doesnt hurt to have 2 spares!

  • Estimated delivery time?

    • +1

BuyInCoins delivery time was three weeks for me, about a week ago.

Must be the low season for China Post, even DX.com delivered to me in three weeks, normally takes 5-6 weeks!

I know the general rule is a $3 HDMI == $15 HDMI cable == $1000 HDMI cable, but at what point to you need to worry signal loss/interference etc?

    • When more than 5m I'm guessing

    • What's the maximum size you would ever use? If it's under 10m, don't worry about it.

      • If it's under 10m, don't worry about it.

This answers my question - thanks :)

    • i have found that cheaper quality cables can actually have connector problems
e.g. my ps3 kept cutting out, due to the hdmi connector being loose. I bought a better quality cable from shoppingsquare and its all good now, i look for gold plated heavy gauge wiring now for all my cables (which this deal looks like it is!)

Have had exactly the opposite experience - 2 $40 cables crapped out on me under warranty… (that is to say I got the first one out of the box and the audio didn't work, the replacement failed after a couple of months)got pissed with it, bought a cheapo one from that guy who runs his business off of Ebay selling them on here now and then for a few bucks…never had an issue.

My philosophy was: if I'm going to have to keep replacing them, I might as well buy a few cheap ones…never had to change 'em out once.

        • I should add - daily use.

  • No 5% Codes ?

I have had some problems(Speckles) long cheap cables when trying to output 1080P. I think the one i had was 10m. I now buy all my longer HDMI cords from ezyhd and use cheap cables for short runs.

If you find a recommender code you can get 5% off. Not sure if you can make one OP, but random one I found was "DISCOUNTER"

Why would anyone buy this when for only $300 more you could get a nice Monster Cable.

    @regenade 5% off Coupon = 5FeBay2013
    Hope it works 4 U

    • Brilliant, cheers! 2 for $6.75!

  • Useful, thanks OP.

  • holy crap, great deal, I'm never getting into HDMI cables, can't figure out how they do it :-)

    • You can buy the same cable from China for only $0.90 but the catch is you need to bulk buy a min of 500 ;)

      • link?

        • alibaba.com

        • Why not aliexpress.com? =D

        • aliexpress is more a single product/retail site while ailbaba is more for bulk/wholesale orders

  • Odd, when I try to confirm order.. i get a 404 error. Anyone else getting this now?

    • Yeh i can't confirm too

    • wouldn't let me submit my order if any of the shipping address fields are blank (phone field was blank for me). It didn't actually tell me this though!

      • I filled it all in and still couldn't :(

    • Had no problem on phone using Chrome & PayPal Express minutes ago. Filled in my shopping details except phone for me, which I left blank & confirmed order.

    • It works for me now

  • the website was blocked for me by the internet filter at work.
    Reason: swimsuit and lingerie

    uhhh…

  • I bought a 5m and a 10m. Didn't need either, but thanks!

  • Does anyone know if this is just a temporary price? I bought one (don't need it) but could need some in the future. Should I bother getting a few more now?

    • The laws of demand and supply suggest this is not a sustainable price. In other words, get it while the getting is good!

    • It's probably their normal price. They have 6-foot (180cm) cables for under US$2 as well, and I've bought them before: http://www.buyincoins.com/item/19879.html

However, like all Asian websites, be very wary of any length quoted in meters. For some reason, they always seem to use a "3 feet = 1 meter" conversion ratio, which is wrong. Like the one I just linked to, which is described as "6FT 2M".
