  Erm.. please do NOT buy a helmet until you actually tried it on your head.
  Last time I bought one in store I tried about 15 models to find the most comfortable one. They are all a bit different shaped - just like your head. Find the one that fits, not the most expensive/cheapest/nicest coloured!! My 2 cents :)

    Agreed, due to my fantastically enormous intellect, I have a large brain and consequently a large head. I have only found one helmet that was suitably priced/sized/coloured, it was a Michelin something something, didn't even know they made helmets. Most places seem to just stock the middle sizes not the outlying ones.
